Where is his pain - if in the lower region can last month's as I have had this. The funny thing it disappeared as quick as it came but I went through many months of discomfort in the interim. How did Barrass injure his back - does anybody know?

Sword fighting over the bye week :rainbow:

Hopefully nothing to the Ryan story other than a bingle. *crosses fingers*

Out: Fmac, Jetta
In: Vardy, Sheed

Hopefully Naita can last until JK or JD is back and then he can have a breather and we run with Varcett in the ruck.

I like sheed but give him a week or two in the wafl. Really need him to come into the 22 hungrier than aver. Would like to see him work through couple hard tats and fierce attention from his wafl opposition.

Though masto and hutch played really well. I’m not a Hutch fan but apart from that knock midway through, he looked to have a huge game.

Out: Fmac,Ryan(disciplinary), Ah Chee
In: Barrass( if fit), Venables, Vardy

If no Barrass then bring Nelson back.

He's had a week or two ;)

We got smashed in the clearances, I think we need our best clearance players in there and that means Yeo and Sheed.

We could have won that game easily tbh if we didn’t choke in the last. Yeo needed to go back into the middle. Also NN played a horror game.

Would love him back but I kinda think some tough love is needed for him.

I do not doubt that Hutchings gives his all. On Saturday he got 25 disposals, 22 of which were kicks. Despite the fact that the AFL shows his DE as 72%, from how I saw it most of his kicks went to the opposition. His kicks are shallow and he slows momentum. I think his disposal ratio should be the other way round, 3 kicks and 22 handballs. Perhaps he has a role as a tagger. I didn't rate his game as highly as some others. I didn't think Ah Chee was too bad, he's a better mark than any of our midfielders apart from Yeo, and has a creative handball. Surely Sheed has to come back in if we are serious about winning. A'worth wasn't too bad but he's still learning.

Please no Nelson, the West WAFL report said he struggled at that level that's about where he's at.

That’s what he needs. A couple of Dusty neck tats
He’s been hanging around masto for the last few years. I fear a few tats mean that his contested possessions will go down and his tackling will become non existent.

We agree on something! :)

I remember saying last year Petters could and should have gone on. Was playing quality footy.

I read recently that he said he's playing three or four one-off games for ammo/country teams this year and the way he's pulling up after each game, there's no way he could play any more frequently.

How much does that have to do with the shift/drop off in training though?

Masten was one of our better players against the Crows.
Hungrytiger also calling Cripps to be dropped after he was the best performing small on the weekend. Delusional.
Cripps was our best forward but would have been much better if he hadn't fumbled as much. One of his panic kicks missed 2 of our players in the last qtr and hit a crows player who then set up a series of disposals and a goal for them. Both Masten and Hutchings played well but they stifle the run. Rioli had several possessions and just moved the ball quickly which gave us the best chance of scoring...cant remember if they all did though

Vardy and Sheed should be in this week after their wafl games.
Fmac Just doesn't cut it so must go out, ainsworth has a go but needs to show a bit more to hold a spot.
not sure what's up with NicNat but if he goes out I think Vardy and Lycett will be fine cover so bring Lecca in for him.
Not sure what will happen with Ryan but if he does get dropped maybe it will be Parto's turn to come in given his Wafl form.
But............
I must say..............
Still tooooooo many changes lately given we want/need stability.

Who will replace Ryan?, also Fraser no doubt will be replaced by Vardy, or time to give Allen his first gig (Barass I don't think we have been told full story!!..surprise surprise) No Kennedy or Darling for at least few more weeks, and Lecca who knows?

I had Ryan as an out anyway, on the assumption LeCras would be back. I don't think his form warrants a spot at the moment.

In: Barrass, LeCras, Sheed, Mellen
Out: Ah Chee, Ainsworth, McInnes, Ryan

B: Sheppard, Schofield, Hurn
HB: Duggan, Barrass, Cole
C: Gaff, Shuey, Masten
HF: Cripps, Mellen, Waterman
F: LeCras, McGovern, Lycett
R: Naitanui, Yeo, Redden
I: Jetta, Rioli, Hutchings, Sheed
E: Ah Chee, Ainsworth, McInnes, Ryan

Assuming Barrass and LeCras are available. If LeCras isn't then Ryan survives, but he's been nowhere near the player we saw in the first three weeks.

If we're going to play Gov forward then he'll attract the number 1 defender, get some games into Mellen (or Brander, either's fine) as the second tall forward rather than persist with McInnes.

Barrass back releases Yeo to the midfield, thank Jebus. If TB isn't available then I don't know what the hell we do.

Ah Chee and Ainsworth a little unlucky but we need Yeo and Sheed in to bolster the midfield.

If LeCras is unavailable then Ah Chee survives I guess. Would give us

HF: Cripps, Mellen (or Brander, or Vardy), Waterman
F: Rioli, McGovern, Lycett

With Ah Chee coming off the bench.
