Given the losses I needed somewhere to bitch so hi to all sorry for being a negative nelly. Had a look at the team and thought Simmo is trying to lose. We should be playing Vardy at ff and McInnes at chf as like for like swaps for Darling and Kennedy then we can leave everyone else in there normal position, Vardy should do alright at ff as he was groomed as a forward by geelong to support hawkins. I dunno what the match committee is thinking but at least we are blooding youth. Sorry for the rant but needed a good whinge.

There is no way they will line up as named, it's just mind games for the opposition. If Nic Nat plays then I expect Vardy or Lycette to play forward with McGovern. If he's out then they might go with a small forward line, with Mcgovern as the one tall and the resting ruck up there from time to time.
That forward line as named is one of the worst in recent memory of any team. Even worse than some of the garbage Freo put up as forwards.
It seems they are doing it as a bit of a rocket. I don't really mind it although if we lose narrowly I may change my tune on that.
Exactly. Typical Sunday game shenanigans. I love it though. I'm pretty sure in recent times we've not done the Sunday team shenanigans that everyone else gets up to. But Simmo and the MC finally fully committing with that forward line. It puts the odds of a late Nicnat out at like 80/20.

Feel exactly the same, form hasn't really warranted a game. If I was Partington I'd be handing in my trade request now.
Don't me wrong I think Allen will be a star but needs to build form before he gets his chance. Also Brander got one of the hardiest debuts ever, probably deserved another crack.

If you want Redden and Hutch you can't have Sheed, it's too many poor decision makers. In saying that Redden really only let his game drop last week in the second half, before that has been playing well.
Venables to roam, Rioli closer to goal. Both can rotate through the middle, Venables may even offer a presence in the air without flying for marks and not being in the contest.
Vardy for McInnes is a straight swap.
I hope Allen plays forward in Waterman's role, but I think our injuries have taken us past the point of exact like for like replacements and things will be a little different positions wise throughout the game.

Don't understand all those who want Sheed in, Ainsworth looked promising and deserves another run. A week of good form in the Wafl doesn't make up for 3 weeks of being an absolute liability in the seniors.
