are we in a position to stop him if he gets a nice lure?
My understanding is he's contracted until the end of 2021.

Spoke to a mate of his - a Cat supporter - a little while back and at that time Chook was as happy as a pig in you-know-what.

Alan Richardson said this morning on radio the Saints need outside speed. That isn't Chook's wheelhouse.

Stevens will be 30 and with issues. Giving up a 20 yo with lots of upside would be crazy list management . Stevens comes on our terms or not at all in my view.

With every respect, I think you are giving a think piece too much credence.

I just hope the club doesn't give it a second thought.

I’m at a loss on this one, as really he delivered on clearances when in the team.

Constable has averaged 2.9 clearances per game in 2019. As a reference point, Parsons has averaged 3.0 per game in 2019.

The less Constable plays, the better he gets seemingly.

Yeah but the question is what is he missing and where the hell did he drop it?

Would it not be more realistic to view it as though he returned to his usual performance and his early season form was more the anomaly?

People are going to scoff at this... and maybe rightly so, i don't even know if i buy it...
BUT
From a someone that has proven to be on the money with info for me previously

the players have legit been getting absolutely flogged on the track, the were cooked in Perth, to the point of vomiting after the sessions they were doing that week

would explain why they looked to just run out of gas/effort after the first quarter (if true), apparently heavy training has finished, look for a different look this week obviously the proof and if there is truth in this.. will be in the pudding

Full disclosure, i often find the HTL as a cop out, but the person who told me this was adamant about it, and I thought it may be of interest to some, would potentially marry up with Scott saying they are doing things to set up for the end of the year. 🤷‍♂️

I'm just asking.
He signed an extension, so how unhappy can he be?!

Cheers. Sweeeet! I hope it's true and I'm gonna believe it's true cause I want to

That's interesting, because i was told the week in Perth was the start of the tapering off period, where they actually did significantly less at training.
We will see in a few weeks i suppose if there is a spike in energy levels and performance.
Fingers crossed.

Amazing.

What is this meant to achieve at this time of the year?

You're giving too much credence to a think piece. Of course a player who has experienced AFL football and is appearing in the best in the 2s each week will be frustrated. You'd be disappointed if he wasn't. We'd be crazy to give up a 20 yo with lots of upside for a going on 30 yo with issues.
Journalists put two and two together and come up with 5.4.
Big Footy posters read it and get mad (and not because the maths is bad).

Or maybe it wasn't only Duncan who had gastro over there last week.

Okay, perhaps controversial, but a genuine question, so please give this some thought.

Do you think Geelongs propensity to set up it's structures according to the unique dimensions of its home ground, causes issues when they get on to the bigger arenas?

Why would you care?

I'm interested in footy.

Brisbane will win. West Coast will win. If we lose we are out of top 2. Wriggle room has gone. What are they gonna do about it? I honestly thought we would lose this game, but now I’m expecting a PUMPED UP team and a win. Premiership chances on the line right now. These are the times to rate players. Let’s see..

Won four games at the MCG comfortably pre-bye. Plus Adelaide Oval and Metricon. It’s a furphy in 2019. Might have had more credence in previous years when our record away from KP was noticeably worse.

Usually true, but we've actually played our best footy at the G this year.
We're just playing like shit.

Okay, it's just a simple observation related to the purported rise in training loads.
