I agree and certainly think he should have made way for Young against Freo, the other underdone 4 were worthwhile punts.

Who do you replace him with? Moore has the same issues bar the playing for frees, Mitchell and Stewart are different players and Young may come in for Neadey.

I would play Young and he would be the first to replace Neade. You then look at match ups. That's another reason why I say Gus is under the pump to be dropped not a certainty. If White cant run as hard as normal but is fitter than Gus, then do we bring in Paul Stewart who had a good preseason to play half back, White as sub and Impey plays half forward to sit on Rohan and make sure he doesnt cause havoc running the ball out of our forward line with his blistering speed??

Saturday should be fair and with the likelihood of Lobbe back Butcher would be the first to go. I hate giving him these 1-game chances and then dropping him but he just hasn't demanded a position strongly enough. Neade should have the talls a player like him wants to play off so I would keep him. Although maybe as sub with Monfries starting. I can't see anyone else who we want to drop unless Carlile or Hartlett are worse than they originally appeared.

Dont expect to see Monfries as sub again. Firstly because he is too good for sub and secondly because he is too shit for sub.

No one at AFL House is out to get us. If anything it seems the AFL attempted to structure the first month or so so that the teams with shorter pre-seasons, namely the top clubs, play each other during that period instead of teams more physically prepared.
There's no doubt there's plenty of these "dark forces" out there but they don't reside at AFL House.

For me, Butcher was shepherded out of the contest and opposition not pinged too often. Needed to be stronger at the contest and dempnstarte the illegal shpherd.

The players that gave me the shites were Neade, White and Schultz. Gus was terrible and it worries me.

If Lobbe is playing, then he replaces Butcher or Schultz.
A Young or Moore should come in for Neade in the Sydney game. We were missing one inside mid-fielder in the Freo game.

White had better find some form, sub in the upcoming game.

Gus, I hope he is just being eased in. If injured or struggling, get form in the SANFL.

I do not understand the Krakour love. He is not ready yet, as is Redden.

Can anybody tell me re this week and moving further into the year, is our forward line a problem with no key target, (i.e. Walker type) I guess if Lobbe plays Ryder will drop forward? then Butcher doesn't play? I though Pav last week was too big and strong, is a our forward line our achilies heel...

Thought Young was extremely stiff to miss out in Rd 1, basically did everything right in the pre season. I reckon him coming on as a sub might've given us a spark. Would like to see him play.

Whats the point going in against the easier teams and coming out all froth and bubble? Then to fall away later with a false sense of security. Bring it on hard and tough. Lets really see what and where we are. Love our draw this year.
