I actually didn't think Gov would be rested even though pre-Essendon I thought he would but after his performance last week I thought he'd stay in this week. Probably wise since he's played every game this year.

Was needing a bodily rest but had to grin and bear it when Tex went down. Good thing to rest after kicking 4 though, straight back in V Freo. Oh well Wayne's-World , my outside the square call if Tex returned (Dougie out) was a bit off. But my strong commitment to Seed and Dmac playing has come to fruition.

I guess my confusion comes from McGovern not getting dropped after the Geelong game on form , plays against Essendon and shows a spark of life. Then he is dropped after showing what he can do. Dropped/managed/rested is all the same. If he got dropped after Geelong it would have been in the interests of resting anyway.
