This is getting more difficult

OUT: Dangerfield (inj), Jaensch

IN: Grigg, ???, Profit

No really. Plenty of others were really ordinary (hello Otten, Wright and Mackay) but we're starting to run out of options. Petrenko for Jaensch probably, but we really ought to be bringing in a useful tall forward with Danger out, McKernan still gone and Otten useless at it.

Out - Danger (inj), Jaensch (omit) and Thompson (rest/surgery/yoga classes)
In: Petrenko, Hartigan, Grigg

Lyons goes into the middle to replace Thompson. Thommo is clearly struggling with his groins, not sure if he kicked once on his right foot. His game now consists entirely of flat footed handballs.

Petrenko to replace Lyon's small forward role.

Hartigan to try up forward. Or Johnston if he performs for North this weekend.

Want to see grigg given an extended run. Lyons never to leave. The kedge shouldn't be too far away surely, we dont have many wins this season. One was off his boot. Give old LJ a crack too, might give some headaches with Jenkins taking no1 and the opposition will have to respect lynch this week. I'd like to see pets back in as well outs? Matty J, I like him but did nothing. Danger. Thompson or wright whichever is most injured.

I'd like to see a positional change for Sloane. Busting his gut with run but just not getting it enough for one of our best. Could swap positions with smith?

Also get shaw or hartigan in defence instead of 4 possession Otten and suddenly our defence looks very balanced.

Also agree with Bassett that we need to expand/vary petrenko role to see if he can actually play decent afl footy. Why not do something crazy like see if he can play in defence?!

I'll wait on this week's SANFL matches, but I'm hoping Shaw has a big game. He missed last week with the freaking flu! Could be handy playing Danger's forward role.
Grigg must come in, Jaensch has to go.
Would love to see Mackay and Thompson omitted but that's a pipe dream.

Out: Danger and Jaensch
In: Shaw (I hope) and Grigg.

In reality, Pets could get 0 touches for WWT this week and still be a certainty to replace Jaensch.

Good call.

We're wasting Smith trying to play him in defense, yet Sloaney is struggling to consistently impact games from the wing. Swapping them we be a great idea.

Danger for Grigg.
Jaensch for Martin.
Otten for Hartigan.
VB/Thommo for Kerridge.

Mackay gets another week - even though he shouldn't have been recalled.
Wright should go to.

If Pets comes in, put him in defense - try Laird forward.

Why would we put a player in a proper position?

Makes no sense ;)

Grigg better be in this week. Other than that, couldn't care less. Its no longer about the results (and hasn't been for a while really) Its now about seeing what the young ones can do and what impact they can make on 2014

at a minimum Grigg must come in and Jaensch must be omitted

Grigg's form is to good to keep ignoring and Jaemsch is consistently in our bottom 6 players whether he is a sub or not

Hopefully Sando did learn from the Lyon lesson last night

Who else is still angry this morning?

I thought some sleep would do it, but no.
It's the angriest I've been since the clubs inception.

Anyway... What I would like to see is some of our kids being pushed into the midfield in readiness for the inevitable changing of the guard . In particular Laird and Smith.

Ideally a Laird could normally serve an apprentiship as a tagger, but we are hiding our captain in that spot.

Would like to see Hartigan as well as Grigg. Any one of 3-4 players could be dropped .

We must start shaping a side for 2014

Thommo has no defensive side and is responsible for performances of Hannebry, Prestia and last night Pendlebury.

He is either injured or in some poor form. Still getting the ball, but is completely unaccountable at the moment.

Give Lyons his role.

Out Danger, Thommo, Jeanch
In Grigg, Petrenko, Tambling

I'm really not sure who has been responsible for selection, whether it be Sando with the final say, or a panel that votes... However it's been structured, selection has been of such gross incompetence that IMO it's has actively worked against our chances this season.

I have lost total confidence in our coaches

Roo said last night that the players did not work hard enough over pre-season, this indicates to me 1. the coaches got the program wrong and 2. the coaches did not drive the players hard enough

Roo also said a month or so ago that DMac's confidence was totally shot however the coaches said that he was to good of a player to leave out, this dispeals any theory that players are picked on form, reputation seems to be the key selection criteria

The on-going non selection of Grigg is a mystery, Grigg has been the most outstanding player in the sanfl over the past 4-6 weeks and despite our form as a team, injuries and the form of players such as Jaensch who just refuses to impact a game of footy Grigg continues to be over-looked, this again dissolves the theory that players are picked on form

Finally on Jaensch, well his fan club on the board continue to talk about his pace and kicking however despite all his opportunities in the past two seasons I can only recall 2-3 occasions where he has used either of these two alleged weapon. My other concern is that Jaensch has rarely featured in our top 6-8 players, Lyon, Kerridge and Laird have all featured in our best players at times however majority of Jaensch games have been sub par to the point that he is in our bottom 6 players for the day

Our selection policy is a basket case

No Tambling please!

In: Grigg, Shaw
Out: Dangerfield, Jaensch

Grigg to defence, Smith into the midfield. Shaw forward, Otten stays in defence.

If there is any hint of damage to Danger's shoulder he should not play. Give him a rest. The reality is we are not playing Finals and we dont want to see Danger damage his shoulder more playing meaningless games. Porps carried his shoulder in the 2009 Finals. It was worth it then as he was an important player in the Finals. We are seeing the effects of that now.

By Dangerfield I mean Danger

I think the funny part of our issues Stem from the same players who weren't able to take that next step last year and for the last few years.

In reality if we can get some solid players between 26-30 we would be far better off than going for kids

was tom harley in adelaide's box the first sign of sanderson seeking answers for continual coaching blunders ?

one coach must go at season's end.
