Guaranteed Hinkley want drop a senior player, he is spineless and in-cable of making hard decisions.

And that is why he should be replaced next year !

Reality check, we just got pipped in the last 2 mins, against a top 4 team, at their notoriously renowned home ground
stop melting lol
Westhoff was great outside of kicking at goal, clearly a mental thing, professional footballer for 10 years, been a decent kick over the journey, just needs to get past some demons between the ears

Out: Young
In: Monfries

Out: Kern

Sort agree with the above, however the above argument cannot be used for Hartlett. He came to the club with a bit of reputation as a gun but injuries and poor form have generally been the order of the day for him He can now join his mate Lobbe in the 2's.
So, outs: Hartlett, Amon and Young. The gold passes of some players are now getting a bit tarnished, these include the Skipper & Pittard. Jacko must have role redefined - #2 ruckman and a kick behind the play type, for example Dean Brogan.
Ins, the Magpies game against the bullies may provide the answers. This team must play as if this game really means something, not just going through the motiions and hoping that no injuries occur. Players that could come under consideration if their 2's form deserves it are, Monfries, Frampton, yes I know Toumpas, Austin, Eddy, Johnson, Howard, Palmer & Houston. From that group of 9 players replacements can be found for my omitted players.

Hartlett is such a disappointment. I wish for him to get dropped but it will not happen. He offers absolutely zero off half back. I havent seen the stats but i am guessing he had less than 10 disposals. Then there was an instance off half back in the last qtr where he got some space and he fell over. Literally, couldnt even run. We cannot continue to carry he and Broadbent as well as DBJ and Pittard in the one backline.

Hopefully Houston dominates in the SANFL this weekend !

Now that I have finally calmed down from last nights robbing. I don't think we should throw away the baby with the bath water. Most players played pretty well... so

Out:
Hartlett: for some time now he has just been redundant. He doesn't have any influence on games. I have felt this way all year (not just this weekend). We don't need him in the team.
Westhoff: For me he is just to inconsistent. He will play an amazing game and then next week play like garbage. Go back to the SANFL, get some form.

Take your pick
Toumpas, monfries, Johnson, Howard, Houston, Palmer, Atley or Eddy

My picks probably
Toumpas and Eddy

FB: Houston Clurey Hombsch
HB: Broadbent Jonas Pittard
MID: Ebert Wines Polec
HF: Impey Dixon Hartlett
FF: Monfries Howard R. Gray

Rr: Ryder Wingard Powell-Pepper

Bench: Houston Amon Trengove S. Gary

Out: Westhoff, Ah Chee, Young, Boak
In: Wingard (2 weeks for a sore calf please turn it up), Howard, Monfries, Bryne-Jones

But we will be going in unchanged because for some delusional misconception Kenny admitted in his presser that our performance was and I quote "OUTSTANDING". What freaking part of that performance was outstanding. The fact that Geelong missed 9 set shots, is the only reason we remained in that game. We have no composure and our senior "elite" players were unnoticeable. Why does Ken continue to stick his head in the sand, WHY? We lose these close games, not because of bad luck, or not working hard enough or the oppo is better than us blah blah, it is because WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

How is DBJ in when he is already in and then he is not in the side?
Howard wont come in and play forward when hes been playing key back at SANFL.
Boak wont be dropped. He was not great last night , but there were worse.

doubled up on Houston. DBJ to the bench, and bring in whoever you want. deck chairs.

Until Ken accepts the experiment of Jackson playing forward and Hartlett in defence have been failures, nothing will change. The earlier post suggesting Jackson should play a similar role to Brogan has serious merit. Hartlett has completely lost his main/only weapons, leg speed and a long penetrating kick. If his hamstrings are so shot he's afraid to stretch out then he shouldn't be playing AFL.

Then again, only repeating what many have posted previously.

I can honestly say I don't care what Hinkley or this side does anymore. Wingard dropping out of the side because of "signalling" (meaning he could have easily played if required) and playing Aaron Young in an 8 point game just shows exactly where these campaigners see this list. They don't think it's good enough, so why should I?

If the coach has any balls, and he cant say the 5 day break is an issue because he clearly said it is not last night in his presser (when asked about changes re SANFL players), then one of hartlett or hoff needs to be dropped. It actually has to happen.

Personally, i would drop both and bring in Howard and Houston. I would also have Monfries in over Young if he can play a good game in the 2s.

Westhoff simply has to go until he demonstrates some reliability in kicking set shot goals. Other teams do it to their forwards, despite them still competing hard and not lacking effort.

Don't think Hoff was as bad as a few others in the side that aren't pulling their weight apart from his missed opportunities up forward, worked well in the midfield and at least got involved in important plays a lot more than Hartlett, Broadbent etc.

Wouldn't have brought Young back in last week as I thought Monfries more than deserved a recall and he didn't do enough to keep his spot so i'd have Young & Hartlett out for Houston & Monfries.

Harts needs a reality check now more than ever, get him to watch how Polec asserts himself on games that's a player who deserves the amount of coin Hamish is currently plodding along on.

My current thinking is something like this:

In: Houston, Howard
Out: Hartlett, Young

Hamish has to go, had a mare of a game and we'll probably do more damage keeping him in the side ala Jonas in 2015. Young never should have been selected in the first place. Play Howard as a genuine second forward, rotate Trengove and Ryder as 3rd forward, Westhoff to do what he does best on the wing. It should also free up Gray so he doesn't have an opposition KPD to contend with.
