Oh, I do. Absolutely. It's a failure of the coaches to stick to their nerve and maintain structure.

We traded in Ryder because we recognised the need for a marking target up forward who could help in the ruck. The coaches very obviously believe we need the extra tall. They just wont pick one.

Mitchell I don't particularly like, but I get. I can see why somebody would see the way we played against Sydney and say that we need more run. Colquhoun would be a better option for that role but it's probably best for him to get a few games at SANFL level first.

Ah Chee is the one I don't get. I don't really see what a slow inside mid who struggles around the ground is going to offer us at Etihad. Should've been Butch to replace Redden.

To the letter this was my initial reaction.

In all likelihood Ah Chee will be sub which makes it understandable but if he's not sub, I'm on board the El_Scorcho train.

The coach wants a tall. If Lobbe was fit, he'd have come in for Redden and we'd have 1 more tall than we have now.

The coaches recognise that ideally, we'd have 1 more tall than we are selecting this week. That's why they went hard after Ryder.

The time that Butch has been biding his time for is right now.

Butcher needs more then 1 good week to be in the side , don't like our selection choices this year , praying we play the way we have for the last 2 years and not this 2012 ball movement crap

with respect his 2015 form is better than anyone else's. 5.1 in the last NAB cup game, he presented well and was repeatedly ignored and given poor delivery at his feet against Freo and kicked the mandatory 1 goal that everyone else got, and then kicked 4.0 in the SANFL last week. That is not one game. He has hands down been the best performed key forward this year, and we are going in with one less tall this week.

Mitchell sub going on Sanfl form. Ah Chee makes sense over Moore. I guess it's Mitchell or the Hoon, too early for Hoon but could be his spot against the Hawks if Hoon backs up last week in the SANFL. Pace is an issue at Etihad. Butch kicks a bag for the Magpies and comes into the mix next week.

Whilst I didn't see Arch and Mitchell both getting selected Kenny and co. must have a game plan that warrants it. Actually I didn't see either coming in, but what do I know? I'm just a sparky by trade and played 0 games of AFL!

Young and Kracker are no brainers for me as ins, with Mitchell coming on as the sub to replace Archee I'm thinking they are going to try to run over the Kangas.
We need this game to be a win and while it's easy to complain and whinge in hindsight sometimes we need to put our faith in Kenny and his coaching staff!

After all "In Ken We Trust"!!!!!!

I guess I'm with AdamMarrett . Pretty much over the repeated negativity.
Whatever the reasoning with the selection how about keeping this in mind:

Ah Chee - AFL debut for our club
Young - finally rewarded for his efforts
Krakouer - had to swallow a lot of pride I'm guessing and now has won a position on the team.
Mitchell - works his guts out week in week out, not the most skilled player but appears to have worked on his deficiencies and earned another shot.

Everyone has their favourites but the big picture is they all play for our club!!
