Pretty recently back into actual training, and 1 VFL praccy match under his belt. Coming off a year out after being rushed back too early from injury... Luckily we're playing on the famously safe MARVEL surface this week though.

He wouldn’t be the worst sub option. Even with his alleged return no full pace he was never super fast. Come on when a bit of the pace is out of the game and ease him back in.

Man i am so excited for my boy Charlie "Spears" Spargo to return! Certainly will improve our kicks inside 50 with his spear like kicking to the forwards. Hard to debut as sub, and he'll be a gun eventually - But the quarter he was on he made no impact at all. Looked lost and timid, which is not what you'd expect from him. It's not a massive surprise if you forget the build up and expectations IMO.

They also may not have trust in Langford to spend most of his time forward just yet. And we’re stacked with inside mids.and he lacks a bit of speed. He’ll be back in the team and I don’t doubt he’ll be a future gun player.

Come on mate, I copped flack for not rating Langford in the best 22 all pre-season and 2 weeks in the coaching staff think the same way. I hope he becomes a gun in the future just like we all do, but it's a good example of how my opinions are not always wrong
