We can't drop Hughes. He was dropped unfairly earlier in the year and he can't be dropped after a game like that. He needs a chance to string some games together.

It's really hard to think of many changes aside from Tucker. Matera will keep his spot until Grey / Switty are ready to be exposed.

Hughes doesn't deserve to be dropped. Hardly the worst out there. Tucker has to be dropped, what does he offer? Confused with him. Why are we turning these types into half back/half forward plodders? Sheridan exactly the same.

I was hoping he'd be back for the Hawks game, although based on the presser you're referring too I actually don't think we'll see him until Carlton or even Collingwood.

No biggie. We're not playing finals this year so there's no rush to play him. The big hurdle he needs to get through is the pre-season. I think if we keep playing him at Peel, play him for 1 AFL game this year and he makes it through the pre-season relatively fine then we could get 15+ games out of him next season.

I agree with rewarding good wafl form which is what makes this year the most frustrating. At least in the last 2 years peel have been good and some players to pick from. Based on Friday’s peel game you could only really pick d.pearce, Johnson or Duman.

IMO all of tucker, Matera, Hughes, apeness should be dropped but not enough to replace with

Watts & Westhoff play high, especially Westhoff. Hughes or Ryan could take Watts.
Hamling takes Westhoff when he is a forward. Ryder hasn’t spent much time as a designated forward lately.

Just to show reward for effort and send Tucker back to the WAFL for 2 or 3 weeks.

I am not sure there is any one else in the WAFL that deserves a game, although it was hard to tell with the team getting smashed by so much.

Bennell can play when he plays a full game in the WAFL, I have not seen that yet.

Matera should have been dropped after the Brisbane game. And should be dropped this week and preferably never play again. He is way too short and slow and has poor endurance.
