Havn't seen a thread yet so i decided to make one. Will be interesting to see who is out of the side this week. Shannon Watt is one obvious one as he has retired but there are plenty of players who could come in. Jones, Power, Harris and Urquhart all had good games in the vfl on the weekend and so too did O'keefe. Wundke hasn't done much in the vfl pretty much all season and I get the feeling that he will get delisted. Maybe it might be a chance to promote some more rookies with Speight getting in the best and White being consistant pretty much all year. what do you guys think.

Give Riggio a crack.

He's already got one.

Does that mean we can't give him a crack, or the arse? Interesting conundrum there.

Anyway, for me it would be
In: Riggio, Wundke
Out: Watt, Firrito

*EDIT*
Oh, and if Harro looks like being delisted this year, I'd like to see him be given one more game to get to 150. Not sure who would go out for him though...maybe Brady with a virus.

I'd like to see Wundke given a shot, as long as it's not at the expense of Josh Smith. I'd like to see O'Keefe, just to reward him for his effort, and maybe White. Wouldn't mind seeing Wright again.

If we give these guys a game at the end of the season, it will make their hunger for a solid pre season grow.

I'm sorry but did I miss the thread with the official announcement Watt had retired?

And isn't it just basic assumption with a dash of 'inside word' that suggests last week was his farewell?

Just saying, is all.

My understanding was that he would play this week as well if his form warranted it.

Out: Watt, Gibson (rest)

Lols. Rest Gibbo for what? Mad Monday?

FWIW, I'm of the opinion there will be no changes. All really depends on if Scott wants to see what anybody else on the fringe has to offer.

I would select like this:

Have to play. Essential core players both now and in immediate future

Petrie
Harvey
McIntosh
Thompson
Grima
McMahon
Swallow
Anthony
Rawlings
Hansen
Greenwood
Goldstein
Campbell
Adams

14 players - all have to play

14 selected

Safe on list - non-core players who we probably will not find out much more about in one game

Gibson
Pratt
Thomas
Firrito

Play only 1

15 selected

Young guys who look safe (ish) on list but have not cemented.

Smith
Urquhart
Ross
Garlett

Play all 4.

19 selected

Older guys fighting for spot on list

Edwards
Harris
Jones
Power

Play 1 at most

20 Selected

Last chance saloon

Lower
Riggio
Obst
Wundke

Play at least 2

22 selected

Young guys who will not benefit as much as others from this last game and are safe for next year anyway

Wright
O'Keefe
Benjamin
Speight
White

Play 0.

I am sure there is a glitch in this system, but for me, it would lead to:

FB: McMahon--Thompson--Grima
HB: Rawlings--Hansen--Urquhart
C: Greenwood--Swallow--Anthony
HF: Adams---Smith---Ross
FF: Edwards--Petrie--Campbell
R: McIntosh--Firrito--Harvey
I: Goldstein--Garlett--Riggio--Lower

Good summary - i think edwards will stay out of those 4.
Pratt needs a solid pre-season - firrito looks like shit lately dont know whats up with him. He needs to be on the half back line and stay there.

Dunno but Rawlings did mention it was Watts last game when interviewed right after the saints match.

Rest Gibbo for what?

TBH the only reason I want Gibson out is that I want to see how a Obst Grima Thompson backine works out.

Rest was the quick logical solution to see him as an out but re-reading over again it probably does look a bit stupid.:o

Aha.

And I just saw Thomas kicked 3 in the VFL and was BOG.

Out: Ross In: LT

FB: McMahon--Thompson--Grima
HB: Rawlings--Hansen--Urquhart
C: Greenwood--Swallow--Anthony
HF: Adams---Smith---Thomas
FF: Edwards--Petrie--Campbell
R: McIntosh--Firrito--Harvey
I: Goldstein--Garlett--Riggio--Lower
please please leave thomas out ,great to see a forward line with players that other players like ,not a posing lazy little whiner.

i recall readin that harro is on 149 games. if this is true then i wouldn;t mind him getting in just to make it to 150.

In: Riggio
Out: Watt

Give him a run, Scotty can have a look at him.
