I'd give Fraser another week off then bring him back against Sydney. I'd possibly look at giving Beams a rest this week for Wellingham, not because he's playing badly but I think I would like him to be fully fresh going into finals because he is the type of player that will do well in finals (I think). Can't understand the notion of dropping Dawes after that match, it was probably his best effort for the club and I don't mind him as a second ruck option. Leigh Brown keeps his spot by way of consistency of selection, I wouldn't pick him but I am sure Mick will.
i wouldnt be resting beamer just looked at some stats( yes and there only stats), but you want to rest a bloke that is equal 5th in disposals for us over the past 7 weeks and averaging a goal a game:eek:??agree with you on L brown and josh though.

IN - One of: Clarke, Reid or Wellingham

OUT - Turnover Toovey

Make no mistake, this bloke will cost us big time one day.

I know we are on a role and we won last week but I still feel that there is a lot of improvement in our team with players that can come back in. I also think that there were a few players whose form was really ordinary against the Crows. Guys like O'Bree, Toovey, Johnson, Thomas and Dick had pretty ordinary games. The more senior game time we can get into Rambo, Fraser (when he's ready), Clarke, Wellingham, Sidebottom and maybe even McCarthy the better off the side will be come finals.

This is what i'd like to see:

INS: Clarke, N Brown OUTS: Johnson, L Brown

Wellingham would have to be close to selection too.

Fraser can have another week off.

I've got no problem with Fraser having another week off if he needs it, if that's the best way of insuring he is fresh and ready for the finals then so be it. Leigh Brown can play his 200th and hopefully that will be the last we see of him this season as we ramp up the talent levels and bring in our very best 22 players.

NO change. Josh not quite ready yet.

No way will Ben Johnson get dropped. He is our no.1 tagger and will most likely take Cousins. BJ has been getting a bit of the ball and hasn't been burning it as much as he had in the past.

Wellingham will fill this role in the future but hasn't the endurance or body size yet to go with the guys that BJ can take.

I cant understand why people still want Toovey dropped. We need someone to play on small forwards and he's our guy. He does burn the ball a bit but he is fast and has a crack so why drop him.

The only one's who will be dropped in the next few weeks are L.Brown Dawes Johnson Goldstack and for a rest Beams. Beams will play in the finals so out of the others we have to make the chances.

Fraser will come in so more then likely Dawes will go out. Out of the rest i cant see 100% who will make way. I think N.Brown should come in but MM likes L.Brown so he may not get a chance unless we play three tall defenders. Johnson has been going ok so i dont think he will make way for anyone so Clake and Wellingham might struggle to get back in. Goldstack has played well in the last 2 weeks so he maybe unlucky if we want to bring in Clake and Wellingham. Its a great position to be in having too many good players playing well to choose from.

One change. if Josh Fraser is avaliable i would say he would come in for Chris Dawes even tho i dont want to see him go out of the team he just seems to help Cloke and Anthony out in the foward line as another big option.

Just let MM do his thing, also this is a DANGER game!
Potential loss coming up!

I think we have gone past dropping games like this. We have too many good players now unlike in the past when we did drop these type of games. Also spots are up for grabs so if players drop of they could find themself in the seconds.

Also its Leigh Brown's 200th game this week and we owe him for all his done for the Black & White.

I have been a big pump-primer of Goldballs, but think for Richmond's smaller forward line that Marty might be a good replacement. Probably wont happen and that's kind of good because I am still a true believer in a Goldball's future.

Leroy - should be out by rights but what are ya gonna do, right? Could use L'Anvil's 200th to eclipse Bowden's goodbye game.

Can't believe there is no love for moneybags on here I think he has been great over the last two weeks and was one of the only players who put in 4 consistent quarters on the weekend IMO.

Love the ballsack, but just think against Richmond we might be a bit tallsy down back and Typhoon would have to be 1st tall defender off the rank.

Isn't it great to be in the position where we can argue for the inclusion of at least 6 - 8 players but we have to struggle to justify anyone getting dropped.
No way Mick will drop L. Brown this week, he'll play his 200th.

Fraser IN

Dawes Out

Nathan Brown was in great form before the injury, but none of the next 3 teams really have 2 talls. Maybe they should rest Presti a week, he didn't look right last week and that usually happens after concussion

I think you will find Fraser is still not ready. I'd give him another couple even if it means his first game is a finals one.

If Nathan Brown is fit I'd go Nathan for Leigh and Wellingham for Ben Johnson and that is all. If anything else Possibly Goldsack for Marty.

Yep. And then Fraser for Dawes when he is right and we have our best 22.

B: Toovey - Prestigiacomo - Maxwell
HB: Shaw - Goldsack - O'Brien
C: Lockyer - Swan - Johnson
HF: Didak - Cloke - Thomas
F: Medhurst - Dawes - Anthony
FL: Wood - Pendlebury - Davis
INT: Dick - O'Bree - Wellingham - L. Brown

Beams needs a rest.

I've got a bad feeling that Jake King is going to play on Didak, and the result won't be good for King or Collingwood.

Gee i hope Didak controls himself if that angry little garden gnome plays on him. I mean their is no one more in the AFL that i would like to see flattened then Jake King, but control please Didak.

Oh maybe that Tiprat Milne, he is a little maggot:D

He did in 08 as well and all that occurred was didak domination and ended with Didak calling him a ****en midget
