Another game that got away so close yet so far.

Let's give Richmond a flogging next week

My team to do so is as follows

In
Ebert
Logan
Salopek
Redden

Out
Young (very disappointed i thought he looked extremely outclassed)
Pfeiffer ( Not the best game for the Pfeif)
Schulz (eye)
Wingard (shoulder)

EMG Phillips Thomas DStewart

Very happy with the games of Westy, Rodan in the first half and Wingards tackle on Jaench simply brilliant.

Do you agree?

Brett Ebert should never play for the Power again. Especially not at the expense of Young:

Out: Renouf, Pfeiffer, Schulz if he's not fit to play and McCarthy if Schulz is fit to play
In: Redden, Salopek, D. Stewart

If Schulz is injured, I wouldn't be fussed to see McCarthy out for someone like Logan or Phillips either.

Whatever the changes are... Primus needs to make a statement. Happy to see one of Hartlett, Cassisi or Pearce dropped. They've barely been adequate in the last 4 games.

Pearce was probably the best of the 3, tried to run and create. Cassisi was average/poor and Hartlett was terrible.

If it's based on effort, then Hartlett is in droppable territory.

Rodan played the exact game we all knew he'd play. Whether that was more than what D.Stew could've offered, we'd never know.

Westhoff, Schulz and Butcher had their defenders beat, just the midfield didn't deliver it enough nor kick enough goals. D.Stew may have given us more ruck support and that could've been the difference

Young was very disappointing in my opinion i really rate the kid but he just really looked like a kid among the men

From an outside perspective I thought Pfeiffer and McCarthy both went okay. Id like to see them hold their spots over P. Stewart, Surjan and Young.

Rodan did okay but very much only works one way.

How far of is Brett Ebert? just lacking that small forward option.

I hope Pfeiffer and McCarthy have been putting in strong performances for your Dream Team :thumbsu:

Stewart and Surjan have both been amongst our best all year and Surjan absolutely smashed Callinan today. Sorry, they won't be replacing your Dream Teamers on the outs list.

Are you serious? He is a kid amongst men, and he did some very nice things. He is the last player I would drop. The LAST.

Really? Young? In his first game as a sub? And his first two possessions led to goals?

I'll never understand this board.

+1

he didnt do anything wrong
there is a difference between not doing anything right, and doing things wrong
and he did things right

come on, lets just go youth and get the priority pick

goodbye dom, bench hartlett, he's got bad habits

we needed logan and thomas today. put them or 1 of them in and take out pfeiffer and we win

out
dom, hartlett, pfeiffer

in, youth youth youth + 1 of hardnut like logan

how far away is thomas?

Young was outbodied, but I'd like to see him get another go. Broadbent though is testing my patience, once again seems to be stuck in that 15 possession zone. Pfeiffer coughed a few up today but I'd probably give him another go as well. Need to think about who I'd like to change. Definately time for Logan to come in if he's fit. Need a desperate player throwing themselves at everything in the middle.

When I saw who started this thread I had a bet with myself he'd be calling for Young to be dropped. Pull your head in.

Redden has to play. We must play two specialist ruckmen. I can't believe we robbed our defence of its best player in that last quarter only to have him being monstered at centre bounces by Jacobs and co. That's where we lost it. Enough is enough of this one ruckman bullshit.

Its like trying to pick out the best Potato's at your local Coles, some might look better on the outside but at the end of the day they are all spuds.

So what now were 1-4 its time to pack up and tank? I dont believe that, were PORT FU$%ING ADELAIDE and we dont tank we play to win eevry single game and we have looked the winner at some stage in every single game this year. we will not let another season slip by yes we have a tough draw but playing all youth is not the answer theres a mixture and we are close to finding that. If all supporters wanted to us to stop playing senior players and play all youth after 5 rounds stuff football id rather watch stinkin NRL

out :
Pfeiffer (too many turnovers),
Broadbent (is Okay, but I'm sick of okay players, I want great players!)

In:
ebert ( deserves a game in good form for the maggies )
Thomas or logan ( hard nut )
