I literally yawned doing this.

Same old shit fellas.

I won't be explicit, but make a few lists.

Thin Ice: Petterd, Moloney, Bail, Bate, Sylvia, Bennell

Surely In: Couch, Watts, Blease, Tapscott

Maybe: Martin and Fitzpatrick.

----

Wednesday's Revision:

Out: Colin Sylvia, Rohan Bail, Jamie Bennell, Matthew Bate

In: Jack Watts, Liam Jurrah, Rory Taggert, Sam Blease

I look for pace, think Nicho or Blease... but they're both one way players and our disposal sucks enough already. Couch is just another Magner/Moloney/Mckenzie. Tappy isn't how he was last year. Jurrah isn't ready yet. Not much else left.

Watts would be nice, if Garlands foot takes him out i'd be tempted to give Davis a shot, and Martin straight swap for Fitz.

Good ins HFF. I still don't think Watts and Tapscott should've been dropped. Petterd did SFA but maybe needs a fair crack like Morton has been given.

Pretty sure Sylvia and Davey should be outs if Neeld is serious about dropping players regardless of 'stature'. Both these players offered pretty much zero I would have thought.

Davey was caught off the ball miles behind the contest on more than one occasion. I watched him ghost onto the ground, jogging to where the ball was headed, then the next thing I knew, hawks' backs were running it out of that exact spot. He is shizen at the moment. Both of them are. Are they part of our future? Not so sure anymore. Didn't seem to give two shits tonight, that's what pisses me off

Out - Bennell (he is done), Fitz, bail, Davey,

In - couch, Martin, watts, Jurrah (this is very early but give him the vest and he can play 1.5 qtr we need something else up front)

The only players who are safe is Grimes, Clark, Bartram, Frawley, Mckenzie, Magner, Jones and Jamar.

I honestly couldn't care less who they bring in or drop anymore. It doesn't make any difference. Sylvia can f*** off. He's not interested. Moloney is playing like a guy who wants out. Davey is simply not good enough anymore. Petterd is over rated. Trengove is out of form. Benell offers us nothing. Bate is too slow and has zero impact. Bail can run, that's about it. I could go on and on. Won't matter who we bring in or drop, the result will be the same.

This, exactly. Was expecting guys like Petterd and Bennell to really jump at their opportunity at AFL level, but they blew it.
I'll wait until the review of the Casey game before giving a bit more thought to ins/outs, but I would not be surprised or upset if there were 14 changes from last nights team.

Bail should be replaced by Couch

No, he shouldn't. If Bail is dropped, and he should be, then he should be replaced by someone like Sam Blease. Couch is not quick and we are slow enough as it is.

Will wait and see how Casey plays today but we are crying out for some X factor so please, Liam Jurrah, kick 8 and force Neeld to play you.

Listening to Neelds interview on SEN, i doubt we'll be seeing Couch any time soon. Plus, he isn't playing today due to illness...

Ok, so having watched the Casey game hers what id like to see vs Sydney

In -

Sam Blease, Rory Taggert, Jack Watts, Liam Jurrah, Brad Green

Out -

Ricky Petterd, Jamie Bennell, Jack Trengove, Colin Sylvia, Rohan Bail

Those ins would really help our forward line out.

No way Bail should be dropped.

Can't believe Bennell was brought back in

Dropping Watts at this stage when Casey don't play for two weeks was just stagnating his development even more. Blease pissed of Neeld by not following the game plan and paid for it. In my best 22 if you go by that as everyone else is failing to execute it as well ;)

Davey has become irrelevant.

In an ideal world regardless of matchups in comes Tappy, Blease, Martin, Watts and Couch. Will it happen, no way but I've got no time for blatant passengers.

Dropping Petterd would be stupid. He needs a run of games in the 1's. I personally think a proven player should be given 2-3 games minimum before being dropped.

I believe players should be given a chance if they show a bit, but don't quite have a great game. Fitzpatrick had some ok contests, looked a bit slow, but will be better for the run. He deserves another chance. Petterd, while I do like him, did not show anything to suggest there are better things ahead. Same with Bennell. Maybe give them 1 more week, and drop guys like Bail or Bate who've already had their chances, but Ricky was very poor. Can be great, but can be shit, and it was his shitness that stood out last night.

Unchanged. Originally thinking there would be 2 or 3 changes minimum but Neeld should keep the same team and challenge every player, particularly those who were way off the standard, to redeem themselves next week. Those who don't can go spend a month at Casey

Anyone who thinks we are going in un changed after THAT effort last night is kidding themselves.

Agree that suggesting no change seems extraordinary, but we've been making changes all year and that hasn't helped either. But I'm a realist, there will be changes, I'm just trying to think of another way that may provide a different type of motivation

Care... too.... elaborate?

Firstly they are too soft and do not impose themselves on a contest or get the hard ball. Secondly they don't do the 1%ers and just go through the motions.

As for Couch, has played 5 good games for Casey, yet can't get a spot in the senior side. Why the **** not? He deserves to be in the side more than some of the others.
