I didn’t see it, but there doesn’t need to be a sling movement. Driving a at risk player into the ground is all that’s required.

I mentioned how average his year has been many weeks ago. It’s like killing Bambi. As disappointing as he’s been, he does possess the tools to be up around BOG in an important game. ANB in a similar boat.

I would love to see us back in Draper here, except we move him to be a small forward instead of inside midfielder. If we're hellbent on the kind of stupidity that puts him in as an inside midfielder, then it would be better to bring in literally anyone else.

Laird’s off the ball bump will attract scrutiny. If there was head contact (even via head clash), he will potentially be banned for a week. Was difficult to tell on the replay. The opponent played out the game which is a good sign. Being that far off the ball (ball was miles away) does impact things though.

Pretty average. But he only needs to be better than next man up. So far I’d have him ahead of Murphy and Pedlar. Some would have Pedlar ahead, it’s a fair argument.

It was extremely obvious at the ground we need at least 1, ideally 2 natural good mids... Lost clearances way too easily.
