Your first impressions seem to be very different from mine - while Ryan hasn't set the team alight, I certainly haven't seen him make any absolute howlers like most of his (much more experienced!) fellow defenders, and he deserves some kudos for almost pulling off that spectacular marking attempt 40m out in the final minutes on Sunday. I think he's got enough in him to become a solid contributor, at least.

I think it's obvious that Kersten being demoted is the move of the week. We shall see if the match committee agree tomorrow.

Must remember newbies don't do all of preseason #1 ie about 60-70% and gradually increased over PS # 2 & #3

It would be a shame if Mr Darcy & De lucca get the cut likewise logue . Crozier very lucky to be in 18 far too inconsistent playing in forward half!! That said, better suited to Half Back
- send spur to peel.
RTB needs to roll dice and play both Sandi & Hodor ie Kersten at peel. Keep de luca and send Sheridan to peel also. I think it will be a toss up between Ryan and logue

I can see Sean Darcy coming out for Sandi and Shane Kersten out for Nat Fyfe.

Not seeing who the third out will be. I would love it to be Sheridan with a reshuffle in the backline - e.g. Crozier back and Brady forward, but have a horrible feeling it will be one of Brady and Josh who sit out.

Surprised Taberner isn't in after his BOG for Peel on the weekend. Not sure we can win it without his dominating presence in the forward line.

I would like to keep Darcy in as he could be a weapon resting deep in out forward line when he's not rucking. I would retain Deluca, he's a contested ball beast. I would also give Kersten one more chance, especially if Fyfe was to go forward. I think Ryan will become a really good player who makes good decisions and uses the ball well. I would also bring back Grey, his toughness together with De Luca and Suban would be welcome. On form I would leave out Sheridan, Logue and Spurr. Crozier could then return to defence where he was very good especially his delivery of the ball.
