No you can't. Promoting Hartigan would require us to demote Laird, or have another season ending injury.
Aren't teams allowed a mid-season rookie upgrade?

Regardless I think it's an interesting call. Talia's looked alright the few times he's snuck forward.

I thought all sides can upgrade a rookie after round 11 or 12

Wasn't Laird upgraded for Shaw's injury? We haven't elevated anyone for Walker's injury. And we get a Rookie upgrade at rnd 11. We could upgrade Laird as our round 11 and still be able to upgrade 1 against Walker's LTI. Hardly worth upgrading another as Shaw will be off the list soon.

The season s as good as over. its time to start looking towards next year. Therefore, I feel Jenkins needs a spell and giving him next week off, will give him 2 weeks to get his mojo back.

Out: Jenkins, Kerridge, Callihan,

In: Hartigan, Lyons, Grigg.

I would upgrade Kyle Harigan and move Talia to CHF. Are you still able to upgrade a player from the rookie list without playing a player on the long term injury list?

Talia is not in bad form, not close to getting dropped but we need to find a new forward line and we can then have a look at Hartigan at CHB as well.

Hartigan hasn't rated for South Adelaide yet why would we upgrade him? I realise after today's performance we need something however not sure he's it.

I thought L Thompson played extremely well in the final he played but seems out of favour...

That woukd work but we know what Thompson can bring to the table, Harrtigan is still unknown. I would like to see them try Tala as a key forward whist Tex is out as an experiment, especially if Sauce is going to be out next week and JJ has to ruck more.

Reilly gone - Tambling or Johncock in
Jenkins rest - Otten Forward - Jaensch or Martin in
Van Berlo mysterious injury - Lyons in
Henderson to the wing
Kerridge rested - Riley, Wright or Grigg in
Lynch into Def

player recovery review - we where so far physically off the pace today - something is amiss here...

Round 12.

Shaw comes off the LTI in a couple of weeks, but we can re-promote Laird for Tex.

The sooner they get rid of the rookie list and replace it with just plain 48 listed players, the better. Confusing bs.

Possible ins: Lyons, Mackay, Brown, Wright, Tambling, L Thompson, Jaensch, Martin, Grigg, Riley

I like Otten but I can't defend that performance. Luke Thompson gets a crack at 3rd tall for mine.

Callinan and Petrenko out, Wright and Jaensch in up forward

Reilly out, Brown in down back (assuming Brown is fit)

Henderson out, Lyons in. We had lots of non-clearance players rotate through the middle today. Waste.

So five changes for mine which assumes that Thompson and Jacobs aren't injured.

reilly wont go. sando loves him.

Im not going to argue with anyone's proposed changes, but does anyone really believe that 3 or 4 different players would have made a difference today?

I think we are in a whole heap more shit than that.

most definitely - physically we looked like boys agst the swans today, and also lacked run and agression... i'd say the shit is quite deep...
and getting deeper...

I don't know why anyone bothers listing Reilly as an out, it will never happen because he had a good first 12 games in 2012 playing as a loose man in defence (the easiest position to play on the ground). The selection panel choose to ignore the fact that his entire career before and after these 12 games has been absolutely pathetic. His lack of heart, effort and confidence is cancerous and it sends a really shitty message to the young players for this hack to be picked every week.

I cbf listing any ins and outs. They won't happen. We'll probably keep persevering with Porps and drop Laird because he 'needs a rest'. I'm over it.
