Bias opinion says Chapman.
Non bias opinion thinks of it as this:
Chapman does more of the hard work, does the team-work sets up the play and is regulary in Geelongs best.
Davey is good but does the more flashy things and because of that i think he will get most of the votes.
I don't think Davey is consistant enough. Chapman does the more gritty things. So i'll say chapman.

Davey - Able to get goals where nearly all others couldn't. Taking nothing away from Chapman though, supurb player, I'd just rather Davey in my team but ofcourse...I do go for Melbourne.

Chapman easily. Davey is great however and I'd grab him in a flash.

While I think Chapman has been fantastic this year, I'd still take Davey. His defensive pressure, match winning ability, and inspiration are right up on par with anyone in the league currently.

Both are having awesome years, Chapman especially.

Chapman is a good player...yes. However, anyone who would choose Chapman over Davey is either bias or knows little about football. Davey offers far more today and in the future.

Chapman by a mile.
Plays legitimate midfield better than Davey, and seems more capable of applying physical pressure - Not just tackling, but bumps and such.
Seriously, Davey is the only small forward who can kick two goals and get called a star by everyone in the media.

Before this year I would have said Chapman easily, now, I still say Chapman, but I like what I'm seeing with Davey. He's not just a goal sneak, he's playing up the ground far more, averaging over 16 possessions a game, as well as 2 goals. Combine that with his defensive pressure and ability to set teammates up with goals by magical vision and deft touches, and it's an exciting package.
Having said that, I'd not trade Davey for Chapman. Like most supporters, I struggle with letting go our better players, even for a seemingly positive trade.

That is ultra consistent if you ask me, especially considering his role in the team.
And he's no Glenn Archer but he's hardly soft either. Last year he led the Demons in tackles at 70kg.
