An enthusiastic fan? How dare he.

I have tipped Brisbane since about February, with Geelong second. I added us in as equal to Geelong as second fave after we had a good mid season position, and we rolled in 3rd or 4th.

Very happy to tip a favourite early it's part of the fun of the site. A load of non Pies had us unbackable in May, and had a shopping list of reasons such as "we travel less than clubs with only 2 teams in their state" and other high IQ theories.

Hope we roll in top 4 next year again.

The OP was from midway 2023 and we went on and won the flag. We then dropped to 9th and back up again and made a Prelim.

End of year Pies will take their pick of Rowell, LDU or Ed Richards. Whoever wants to play for the least coin.

We’ll also bring in 2x R1 talents for next year in McGuane and Condon and get Harvey Harrison back from injury to either play finals this year or take a best 22 spot to begin next year.

No, I think it’s highly unlikely any of them jump to the oldest list in the comp.

You might get one of them, but I can certainly make a bunch of arguments as to why LDU, Richards and Rowell will either stay or go elsewhere.

Collingwood are always contending, so the chances are, if you play for the Pies, you will play finals.

Now for the uneducated, there is life after football and the more informed players are well aware of that.
Playing for a club like Collingwood, has its benefits in this regard.
