Interesting - did we play a night match in the group stage?

I'm guessing that the gold medal match will be a night match - if we beat NZ, will it have much of an impact not really playing under lights prior to that?

Im gathering and its just maybe me but having a day match also appeals to tv audiences in NZ/Aus

And night matches definitely was a no brainer for England especially given its pretty much prime time as well.

... Aus v NZ is the later game at 6pm local, a timeslot which: a) each team has played in once and twice respectively; and b) isn't a real night match anyway. Furthermore the gold medal match will be a 5pm local start.

I got a sneak suspicion New Zealand might lift a gear tonight against the Aussies.

been impressed with Tahlia McGrath who I honestly hadn't seen that much or not taken that much notice of in the past on the domestic and international scene. She has a real 'Ben Stokes' thing about her
