Doesn't add up to me.
I suspect he got a small dose in Europe and it wasn't enough to show up on subsequent tests but for whatever reason it showed up as an irregularity and then a positive, tests aren't foolproof.
I guess his next test result will shed a bit more light.

The AFL flat out said no before being prepared to even look at it. The Vic teams refused at the time, to travel over and go into 14 day quarantine.

All I've heard is players from all states express strong concerns about hubs in particular the family aspect of it and their preference is not to go but they'll do it if really necessary.

The false positive theory was put forward by Xavier Campbell (Essendon CEO), Health Dept says its highly unlikely but further tests will be conducted to confirm or rule out.

It could well turn out to be a false positive but I don't think it's time to hand McKenna his hand written apology just yet.

Source? I haven't seen this. Not saying it didn't happen but all I read was that it is a line of enquiry that they are following.
