List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)

Flynn is just a big body to throw at big rucks like Gawn who can absorb the contact and hopefully wear them down a bit. He's also handy around the ground, has good hands and is a pretty good kick. He should be picked over BW who's pretty clueless and has no size. If we could get another 5kg on Archer's shoulder's and chest he's a better choice long term.
Both are spud and both will get rotated throughout the year like they did this season.

Also Gawn absolutely panted the living daylights out of flynn. 35 touches, 49 hitouts, 9 clearances and a goal.

Bailey restricted Gawn to 21 touches, 29 hitouts (baz also had 3 less ho), 2 clearances and a goal.

Being happy to lose our captain because we get pick 2 in return wreaks of loser-dom. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with the decision under the circumstances. But I hope we never go through this again. Strong clubs don't let their captain's walk out the door, then cheer about it.
Baker never stopped Barracking for West Coast from childhood even as a Richmond player went to 2018 GF in eagles gear , always wanted to come home and is a deserving Captain , I cheer that .

Bit dumb to meet another club in a public space. He'll do well in Brisbane, a Mop bUCKET___ could do well with that midfield.
I don’t know whether we should be offended or not bUCKET__

Any picks over the number of list spots you have get 'deleted' when the draft starts. So makes sense to hold 7 then split as soon as the draft starts to blow out the DVI points you have.
So when can they trade? I.e. is there any risk WCE bid on Uwland instantly and wipe out the picks?

Any idea how we rate our NGA & F/S kids?

Like which ones would be highest priority and we would match?
Our F/S and NGA are rated 7,8,9th best WA talent and Wes Walley wasnt in the top ten i wouldnt be surprised if we didnt take any NGA as we could draft them as NGA for 3 years now not just this year .

They have a couple of minutes i think from when the bid is made. Can trade as soon as the clock starts. AFL wont let us make a bid until atleast a couple of minutes have gone by. Talking head idiots need time for final spewing of nonsense.

I could see Melbourne falling in love with Sullivan Robey as a Petracca replacement. If you squint, his highlights even look like a young Petracca. He won’t get past Richmond and Essendon so if they like him, picks 7 and 8 from GC mean less to them.

Pick 2 to GC for 7, 8, plus a commitment to GC that we don’t bid on Uwland/Patterson.

Pick 2 then on traded to Melbourne for Petracca.

Take picks 1, 7, 8. Take Duursma, target guys like Sharp, Cumming and Grlj at 7 and 8.

Potentially trade pick 13 into a 2026 F1 if someone comes knocking.

I think its a big gamble that Sharp will get to 7. I reckon he gets past Richmond but the Bombers are a good chance to take him.

What other rucks do it half the contest or offer a lot around the ground .

Flynn and bailey do neither
Flynn has a lot of shortcomings but doing nothing around the ground is simply untrue.

Very good intercept marker and surprisingly nimble at a fashioning a clearance for such a laughable oaf of a bloke.

It’s the ruck craft element of the ruck duties we struggle with.

Flynn is ok as long as he never tried to kick laterally.

Less relevant than how other clubs rate them.

My guess and this isn't how I rate them.

Williams attracts a bid in the 3rd round.
Banfield late bid national draft.
Walley makes it to the rookie draft.
Evans is unknowable. Hopeful he makes it to the rookie draft.
