If Duursma was so good why didn't he win the Larke Medal? Sharp did win it

If Duursma was so good why didn't he win the Kevin Sh Medal (U16)? Sharp did win it

So are we going be saying in 8 years time-
If Duursma was so good why didn't he win the Rising Star Award or Brownlow? Sharp did win it

Duursma was able to have a better draft year then Sharp but it is really Neck and neck.

Like seriously who wants to bet duursma has a better first season then Dyson Sharp???? Any takers?????

Also who wants to bet when all is said and done Duursma has more brownlow votes then Dyson Sharp??? Any takers???

It's a gimme. Duursma plays too far for the ball drop and his contested game is coming from a very low base. Much lower than Goddard or Bonts at the same age.

Duursma should be viewed as a meters gained player with unknown level of hurt factor given his disposal isn't yet reliable.

From Cal Twomey's Insider Trading article

They literally could've gotten a second rounder from our dumb asses if they had let him go at the end of 2023. Even knowing that the Ashcroft's and Fletcher were coming in they wanted to keep him and used him a further grand total of 6 times and I'm pretty sure all of those were as the sub, thus tanking his value completely.

A pretty rare miss for Brisbane in recent times.

"Lick my baws."

- Brisbane and their two premiership cups.

Very late to the Rowbottom party, but he’s the guy you take when you’ve got a fully established midfield.

They love him at Sydney as he does a lot of defensive work that means Warner and Heeney can go to play and not be burned defensively. He’d almost be about the first picked each week.

He’s not flashy, but he’s a really good footballer. He’d be a really astute buy I feel. But we just need to hit this draft with our top pick and hope that we can develop Dev into that type of footballer.

Yep and not at pick 13

Agree on points Keys but 34 as opposed to 41 could be incredibly useful come draft night to pick up a couple of F2s/F3s to slide down the order a couple of picks.

Good example is in 2023 Richmond pocketed our F3 for sliding two places from 38 to 40 just so we could grab Hall. That ended up pick 39 before bids etc. in 2024.

Next year we’ll be needing points and picks for matching so I’d really drive a hard bargain with this trade, especially after overpaying for a trade with the same club last year.
And that could have got us Boxshall. Or been Grego without needing to trade a future in.

I’d only be looking at Elijah Hollands as a train on option

List spots are too valuable to use one up without a try before you buy period
He will inevitably look good no?
Unless he's enjoyed his time away from footy.

We won’t know that for a number of years but it’s looking like a poor trade.

it looks pretty good to me. haven't seen any evidence to the contrary.

you do realise it wasn't a hall for Boxshall trade yeh? 3rd round pick and different draft years. I am not sure how anything 3rd round can be seen as poor trade, 12 months earlier.

do you live your life like this?
