In:
  • Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
  • Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
  • Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane
Out:
  • Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
  • Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
  • Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41

2025 Draft Order

Current Draft Picks:
Round 1: 1, 2, 13
Round 2: 34, 41
Round 3: 53, 58 (These picks are in excess of available list spots so will be forfeited if we don’t consolidate our 2025 picks up the order or trade some for future picks)

List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)
• Cat A rookie list (5 of 8) - 3* (in: Robertson (pending), out: Rawlinson)
• Cat B rookie list (1 of 2) - 2 (out: Livingstone)

* Based on Dewar being upgraded after the maximum 3 years on the rookie list. Hutchinson may also have been upgraded but this isn’t confirmed - if it is we will have 4 main and 4 rookie list spots open

* Matthew Clarke has stated we have 5 main list spots

Matt Clarke wraps up the trade period - 6PR

Exactly the comment you want to hear from your list manager so you know they are assessing all avenues to improve the list.

Meanwhile we get flaccid Clarke telling us Ah Chee isn't a list need for the worst side of all time.
I don’t know if you’re just winding me up to unload on Clarke yet again but yes, I agree with your sentiments.

Flaccid is being so gentle.

Comatose is probably a better term

he’s going to nominate 5 years on decent coin.. that’s way to much for a role player.

we should prioritising games into the kids. We have a bunch of nga (on the list and soon to be) kids who can play a similar role. Prioritise this.

And beyond all this ah chee is suspect, I think he would fall flat in a poor team like ours.

Wasn’t interested in him in the lead up to the trade period, and not interested now.

Oh yeah we also have fk all list spots. Would piss me right off if we missed out on say banfield or Evans for ah chee.

Can't have a dig at Clarke with that perspective though.

Carlton end up with Ainsworth, Chesser, Florent, Hayward AND Reidy at the end of the trade period - anyone think trading in five average players end up improving their ladder position next year?
Theyve fixed their depth and added a bunch of great picks over the next couple of years.
Id say theyve had a win, theyre well set up for their rebuild now as long as they are actually committing to it.

Wont improve their position next year but I think theyve done well

Was going to post in Draftee, NGA and Father/Son Discussion, but Keys it looks like it is locked?
2026 NGA/FS draftable talent?

Garrison Kenh/HB/182: very quick and line breaking HB.

Lachlan McGlade/SF/177: very quick, highly skilled SF

Robert Farmer/SF/178: quick, highly skilled SF

Harper Banfield/MID/181: balanced mid

Elijah Williams/185: anybody know where he plays, 185cm already??

David Shanahan/KPD/196: quick, strong, very good leap, African heritage, raw.

Welcome to update or correct me, this is what looks like being available in 2026.

We still need the Lions to delist DevRob lol, if we come out saying "welcome to west coast ah chee" they can still **** with us.

Makes no difference if he says we will or wont take him, im sure theyll talk to him privately still and see what it would cost

I’ve got no issue letting Ah Chee go if they deem him too expensive or counterintuitive to a rebuilding side on inflated $$.

Not if they’re just trying to be polite choirboy cucks.

Port however, go for it. Make it interesting.

There’s zero reason why they shouldn’t get involved - same city, in theory a club in the window, if they’re offering the $$$ then power to them (😎😎😎)

I do feel a bit dirty agreeing with them though tbh

Why would Brisbane care if we picked him up? Anyone but Adelaide from their perspective.

Taj Woewodin for rookie spot?

Perth boy right?

Edit: maybe not. Thought he played better than he did. Think I keep thinking of his father when I hear his name.

If Ah Chee only wants to move to SA makes sense for Port to be an option.
We're probably from the wrong state.
