Feel a bit for Nick....he's lucked out with a second place again.
Nevertheless Darcy had a fantastic season - continually took so many important marks all over the ground.
Great to see a defender up there in a big award, unlike that umpires award.
Congratulations to those three and all in the top ten Amazing to see Pendles and Sidey included.
Thanks to all the players who wore the black and white this season. You took us on a great ride.

Pendles is great but he seems to be rated incredibly by the coaches even when sometimes you might think that other players have done better. Just shows you what dire straits we are in with the oldies dominating the count. Disappointing years from some of the hgher profile fixture players like Maynard, Jordy, Moore, Checkers, McStay, Frampton, etc.

Nice to see quaynor recognised, he got better and better as the year went on. Thought Perryman was a sneaky chance for top5, he was very consistent over the year.
Need beau and Allan to replace crisp and sidey in the top 10 next year. No point suggesting pendles, it can't be done

He had a great season and I love him, but IMO he wasn't our best player this year. I'm sure Nick will win the Didaka in a canter if that hasn't been announced already. I think nine out of ten supporters would have predicted Nick as a clear winner. It's a shock result.

. He was a powerhouse this year. Think he played every game. Amazing effort and physical resilience.

Without him, we would have been lost in many ways. I think this victory is a recognition of this.

Darcy is wonderful.
But there is no way he should be winning the Copeland ahead of Nick.
Just have to wonder what this club is about. I get that we want to recognise all players, but this is just wrong.
Nick is the best player and should have the award.

Maybe just me, but I don't actually think Nick had that great of a year as he did in 2024..
His impact wasn't as good as it could have been.

Darcy is a very deserving winner. 2nd last year, was only a matter of time before he won it. He would have lost more games without him.
Nick will win plenty more. It just wasn't this year. He doesn't have to win it every year.

I love DC, one of my favourite players and massive congrats to him.

Do feel for Nick however, he cops an unbelievable amount of stick for no real reason and can’t help but think the club/fly have contributed a little bit to that tonight. He was pretty clearly our best player this season

Although most in the top 10 are mids. Maybe it shows that our attack outside of Jamie was poor and our defence outside of Q was too. We were short of goals and there were too many bags of goals kicked on our defenders.
