Bought a coffee machine at Christmas (not fully automatic). Tbh the coffees I'm making are the same quality as ones I buy in cafes. Not sure whose coffee making ability that says more about.

Coffee is like wine. If your raw ingredients are shit, you ain't making a decent drink, no matter how fancy your machine or how talented you think you are.

The exact same way that you prove you have had a flu jab when you want to visit an elderly relation in a nursing home? You get paperwork that says you've had a vaccination when you get it. Also you're medical records contain this information. You would simply show that.

Or when you want to put a pet into boarding, and they require up to date vaccinations, you simply have the paperwork and show that.

Its not some overly complicated conspiracy thing here.

Yeah right, you are going to take a piece of paperwork to the pub and the publican is going to check that all 100 people in the pub have had a jab before he pulls a beer. Publicans are pissed off enough with QR codes let alone having extra checks to enforce.

We are not talking about a steady trickle of visitors to a nursing home but about dozens of people in and out of the pub on a daily basis.

Shh, that's what the microchip is for ;)

They'd be checking IDs for age on a lot if they're not regulars... so a second piece of paper at the time is such an inconvenience.

Really busy pubs have security at the entrances keeping count of the people that are entering so that the place doesn't hit capacity issues. Guess what they can also check?

Or its like show your id and vax record to the bouncer when trying to get in, instead of just showing your id.

If its a less busy place that doesn't have someone at the entrance, then checking someone's paper work really isn't that much of an issue.

When was the last time you were in a pub?

Have you ever worked behind a bar in your life? It isn't that easy particularly when you have a TAB, Keno meals etc to cater for. I could show you any piece of paper and are you going to have the time to query it? on top of that who is going to police it? It is like QR codes, in my local some people use them but many do not and the bar staff do not have the time to ask.

Before you post, yes I have worked behind a bar.

I am a regular pub patron and I do not think i have ever seen a barmaid ask for proof of age so your assertion that bar staff are contiually running checks is a load of bs.

None of this would be an issue if the unvaxxed were just required to wear dunce hats.

It’s fairly easy. Mandate masks. Those who wear a mask will be smart enough to be vaccinated and those that don’t wear masks will 100% be anti-vaccers so just get security to bash them.

I can fix all the worlds problems

You could just put something on ID cards to denote whether someone has or hasn't been vaccinated. But the majority of people who enter licenced premises or buy alcohol aren't normally required to present ID so ...

We could implement some sort of ID only Card system
Let's call it say the "Australia Card"

Finally...a solution I can really get behind.

Had to chuckle this morning at a female news reporter in Melbourne. Talking about the latest COVID-19 case in Melbourne, she says, "We now cross to a live press conference with Dan Murphy, I mean Dan Andrews."

Coffee is like wine. If your raw ingredients are sh*t, you ain't making a decent drink, no matter how fancy your machine or how talented you think you are.
I use good coffee, so that would explain why I'm enjoying them. I bought my coffee from these guys:

How’s Dan on tonight’s news when asked if we shouldn’t have brought diseased tennis players into Australia he said “anyone coming into hotel quarantine could have brought it in” and while that’s true we HAVE to bring Australian citizens home we don’t have to bring a few hundred rich tennis players in.

The mans arrogance and complete disregard for us after what he put Victorians through last year is astonishing.

That's the secret. I buy the best coffee beans I can and make better coffee than what I buy out at cafes. I only use a Smeg Espresso Machine at home.

Only a matter of time before all of us in Victoria see another lockdown

This does not excite me in the least. I’ll be out of here within 24 hours.

It's OK to bring all the tennis players into the country, but what about the Aussie guy on the news the other night? He's 34 years old, and was recently diagnosed with cancer. He's stuck in Canada, and he's not allowed to return home to spend his final days with loved ones. How's the double standards???????
