I’ve started to follow an antivax page on FB that a friend of mine keeps sharing posts from.
It’s very strange seeing into their group think, but some of the stuff makes me chuckle…

Not a great endorsement for the efficacy of vaccines

Charlotte's superspreader dinner party holds a lesson on the reality of COVID-normal life
A group of 13 fully vaccinated friends went out for a post-lockdown dinner in Melbourne's CBD. Three days later, 11 of them tested positive to COVID.www.abc.net.au
A colleague (early 50s) in Europe who had AZ in July also told me he caught it start of last week. Said it was like the longest, worse cold he'd ever had.
I wonder if the vaccine only offers protection against low levels of exposure.
Not a great endorsement for the efficacy of vaccines

It just shows that being vaxxed means we can still easily catch it. So you must still exercise caution if you don't want to get it. The hospitalisation and ICU numbers in NSW and Vic obviously tell a great story about the success of the vaccines in keeping people out of hospital, but it's not the answer that a lot of people are expecting it to be.Ms Webster said in hindsight she would have taken more heed about risks she picked up on, like the restaurant she was in not checking vaccination status, and some wait staff not wearing masks.
Sounds like an anti vaxer wait staff probably sneezed it all over the table
It's started.....
Doesn't sound too much different to the last two years tbh. It's started.....
Not a great endorsement for the efficacy of vaccines

Such an absolute low life.
I hope for his sake he doesn’t catch covid19, he looks a prime candidate for a serious outcome, much like Palmer and Kelly.
Correct he said it was a little difficult to continue working (from home) but he was able to, but hasn't yet got his sense of smell back. I also had Pfizer in July, so I would also expect my immunity is getting low too. At least there isn't as much of it around compared to Europe right now.If he got the vaccine in early July the efficacy would have fallen in the 20 weeks since he was vaccinated. AZ are saying protection offered by their vaccine lasts longer than others but testing has shown that Pfitzer can fall as low as 47% inside of 20 weeks. The Australian Government has approved boosters for 24 weeks after full vaccination but on the latest evidence from the US and UK it could easily be 20 weeks.
At least your friend did not die and I assume he did not finish up in hospital.
Couldn't care less in the slightest. It's back to normal here. Time to move on. You'll all be okay.Time to panic buy tissues and toilet paper for those in melbourne, '66 is getting ready for a wankathon

So "we're back to normal"?
HALTHCARE didn't fail. The end of the world didn't occur?
Your idiotic rantings didn't eventuate?
Who would have guessed?
Not unless I'm in a shopping centre or on public transport which I avoid anyway.Masks don't bother me like they do you though. I wear n95s everyday at work.I assume you don't have to mask up then?
