And how good is it that people won’t remember it that way. Please sook more 😍
If you say so, pal. You can have your opinion, I'll have mine, and the rest of the folk can be wrong with you. 😘

In all seriousness, Dusty had an amazing year - as did Danger - but, I feel (and I'm not alone here) that Houli was BOG on GF day.

Neale wouldn't even start in the Lions dynasty midfield.

Voss, Black and Akermanis are all more talented.

He's probably around the same level as Luke Power.

Dustys 2017 GF was rated the second highest behind Shueys since the stats were taken. But yeah each to their own.

4 All Australians (could have been 5), 2 Brownlows (one was a bit of a surprise), a League MVP, 6 BnFs and a Gary Ayres medal - its a fair resume. I don't think he'll add to any of those. One poor grand final, one great grand final.

Not quite modern GOAT contender-worthy. Impact of disposals and scoring metrics a bit less than the ultra damaging players who either had explosive attributes + big kicks, or were elite for skills. Probably more dangerous by hand than foot.

Nope.

Doesn't play for Victorian team.
Isn't Victorian.
Therefore Ineligible.

I mean yes he is a very very good player but I wouldn't have him ahead of Ablett Jnr, Martin, Judd, Dangerfield, Franklin.
What about now? Dual Brownlow medalist and a dual premiership captain. Currently sits 5th all-time in Brownlow votes.

It's reasonable to say he probably should be rated a little higher.

Two years in a row he's absolutely turned up and starred when it mattered most. That counts for something. When you look at the overall record maybe that 2nd Brownlow wasn't quite as big an upset as thought (certainly by me - putting my hand up big time).

If anyone had a right to underperform he did, instead he came on and absolutely dominated. Clean hands, good decision making, and an utterly brilliant goal under the tightest pressure. Got better with each passing minute.

No, he is still behind Ablett Jnr, Martin, Judd and Dangerfield in my opinion. The reason being is that those players were more dynamic. They also hit the scoreboard often too.

Having said that, Neale still has had an outstanding career.
