LOL!

We could also post the following information, perhaps:

Adelaide 18. 16. (124) def. Port Adelaide 8. 8. (56)
http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=matchresults&spg=default&m_tournamentmatch_id=1360

Saturday 13 August 2005
Port Adelaide 12. 9. (81) def. by Adelaide 13. 10. (88)

Nothing like introducing a healthy dose of reality into a fantasy thread like this one.

Not a great, troll, eh?.....
Pretty damn great troll actually, for connoisseurs of trolling.
An innocuous little comment like the one starting this thread has drawn in half the Cows fans on BigFooty. People have Photoshopped, amassed statistics, set up player lists. All for a bog standard 'my ******** is bigger than yours' thread. PtLincoln Power I offer my congratulations.

Yes, excellent post, insightful, detailed, with excellent analysis, all that we expect to see from the Trolls, it's just a shame that their opinion means nothing to anyone except the lowest denominators; there again, the sooner they realise this, the sooner they might realise what an oxygen thief is.

PtLincoln Power, you are a cretin of the highest order. If you read the responses from non crows, or Port people , you'll see how stupid you really are beginning to look.

though Adelaide arent a 'force' per say, i dont see how Port is any better. come on look at ur team FFS!
hipocryte.

Where exactly do you disagree? did you check the bigfooty official pre season prediction thread in 2005?
I'm not disagreeing that most of the board including myself thought the crows werent going to do that well this past season. I was just having a go at you for attacking other users as per usual.

Last year alot of my crows supporter friends tipped the crows to go bottom and said they had a terrible list. They also said Port won the grand final because we had the best list. Now in 2005 these same people are telling me how brilliant Adelaide's list is and how they are bound for glory and that port has a terrible list.
Interesting how quickly people's attitudes change. It will be interesting to see who improves this season and who goes down and whether Adelaide can maintain the level of performance they established last year.
I think Adelaide will struggle to go tops again.
Last season everyone thought they were a joke (favourites for wooden spoon in alot of quarters) and their coach was an unknown factor. This year they will get alot more respect from the other clubs. Coaches will analyze thier game plan and work on strategies to defeat them.
Its one thing to go top its another thing to stay there.

Do you have your own crystal ball? last year almost 95% of bigfooty tipped adelaide for a bottom 4 finish.Funny how everyone is now on the adelaide bandwagon, a couple of injuries and some ******** poor luck and everyone will be jumping the adelaide ship again

Dead right.

Our best 25 are even with the top 4 sides but after that if we have some injuries or poor form suspensions, the majority of AFC supporters will agree that out depth falls away and would only be compared to bottom 8 side.

Yeah right, your first big injury to a key player was somewhere around round 20
how sure of that are you?

take carr, shofield, hardwick and james out of 2004 and in 2005 you aint got the best list anymore, not even close to arguing that.
the way we performed with a burnt out coach in 2004 you couldn't rule emphatically out that we didn't have a terrible list.
its amazing what a proud, honest and resourcefull man can do hey
and i disagree with your opinion of adelaide bieng given more respect as this is a proffesional league not one for amatuer lazy coaches who dont do there job, which is to anaylise everyone. and if your club didnt respect us(we beat you 3 times in 05 by a combined total of,wait for it,159points, in case your wondering thats 26 goals and a bit.)that is a severe blight on your club and your clubs problem not ours

Ouch! A fair summary I guess. Just our luck that we dropped off at the same time you got it together. Still I wouldn't be without the rivalry.

pretty sure, hart did miss a few games, welsh missed a couple as far as i know, but your backbone group, KPP and ruck departments were all solid till hudson did his knee. The only serious injury adelaide suffered in 05 is hudson.

Exactly my point.I rate adelaides midfield very highly, but they were exposed against st kilda without the likes of roo, a weak st kilda side without 6 regular players dominated your midfield.A team is as good as its depth.

our best player for the first 7 rounds kinda broke his leg about then, skipworth missed a heap towards the end, rutten played injured for about the last 6 or 7 games,he was on a modified program,as was edwards and mattner for the end of the season, clarke got injured real early and struggled i suppose i could mention watts as he did his ankle badly and when he got fit at the end he was clearly of afl standard, burton missed a few games off memory, torney had a heap of trouble with his back, mark stevens retired cause his body failed to recover after playing about three games
if i remember anymore i'll let you know but i gotta another post of yours to work on
