our best player for the first 7 rounds kinda broke his leg about then, skipworth missed a heap towards the end, rutten played injured for about the last 6 or 7 games,he was on a modified program,as was edwards and mattner for the end of the season, clarke got injured real early and struggled i suppose i could mention watts as he did his ankle badly and when he got fit at the end he was clearly of afl standard, burton missed a few games off memory, torney had a heap of trouble with his back, mark stevens retired cause his body failed to recover after playing about three games
if i remember anymore i'll let you know but i gotta another post of yours to work on
Johncock was a loss, i will pay you that but skipworth and watts? you couldnt find a place for watts even when welsh and got injured.Hardly a loss. Skippy? The guy is average at best, i hardly doubt you will disagree with that. Tries hard though.
Your injuries were pretty isolated.Mentioning rutten and edwards as injured is an excuse. Those were end of season blues, modified training program is very common at the end of the season.Hardly an injury.Apart from petty injuries, i fail to see how injuries really hurt adelaide.

i see you forget to mention stevens?he was our best forward and with him missing watts came ever so more important and watts tried like hell to play with a dud ankle for awhile with no success and was then out of action for awhile and the season ended just when he got going.
your opinion of our injuries bieng isolated does suit your line in this thread but that dosn't make it true

actually 2006 season will be a big test for the crows
they got a lot of drive from hudson in the ruck giving their on ballers first use or at least a good chance at the ball in 2005
with him being out for a while coz of his knee crows will have to rely on an old lumbering clarke who can't take overhead marks or biglands who has tribunal problems and heart issues or two untried kids meesen who couldn't progress past the norwood twos and is sounding sooky sooky la la about wanting to go home and maric who got games coz port magpies had noone else

it must be something in the water over there
an inability to engage in rational discussion
isn't it a fact that hudson had a fine 2005 until he got that knee
isn't it also a fact that clarke is now 32 and has never been an overhead marking option
isn't it also a fact that biglands has had more than his share of bad reports and that at least one coach has seen fit to discard him coz of a refusal to run in straight lines without raising an elbow
isn't it a fact that there have already been whispers about meesen wanting to come home
isn't it a fact that the port magpies rucked maric coz they had few options
and finally isn't it a fact that hudson will miss a good portion of 2006
all of this adds up to 2006 being a big test for the crows

isn't it also a fact that clarke is now 32 and has never been an overhead marking optiondescribed this bloke as the best tap ruckman in the league and also a best and fairest winner and will only ruck half a game a week
isn't it also a fact that biglands has had more than his share of bad reports and that at least one coach has seen fit to discard him coz of a refusal to run in straight lines without raising an elbowwhen was his last report?secondly did you bother watching this guy in 2005,because this statement kinda seems selective

all of this adds up to 2006 being a big test for the crows
