Perhaps you should look back and see who bagged who in regard to Bode and where he was at when he was at Port.

Mind you you may need to take the blinkers off to see that as the bagging goes both ways............

As I mentioned more than once both clubs are happy with what they got out of the deal the Bode wanted at the time...........

As has also been mentioned plenty of times here and previously Bode would not get into our current mid-field rotation......now unless the rules change and every side plays 22 midfielders I don't see than changing now or during Bode's career...........I see your still selectively reading posts for what you want to see.........

BTW good to see you ended your post with your normal troll that you continually posted on our board.........nothings changed but that's expected with you Noddy.........

That last bit was deliberate to see if you was around the place but at least your back conversing with me in a civil manner dk, but when do i get a smilie ?? , :)

well no it's not a reference to your username exactly just that for some reason i relate dreaming to some of your past posts,

Geez, what a load of ****. S Burgoyne being incosistent etc, Bode being on par with Stevens, Francou and James
Adelaides midfield is probably superior to Ports with Mcleod, Goodwin and Ricciuto but Bode would not make our midfield mix. You say we are being biased Noddy, how much do you want to rate Bode, and for Stiffy saying he is on Par with Francou, James and Stevens. Pfft. Comparing Bode to S Burgoyne is like comparing Kingsley to Mcleod. I agree with fellow posters who say he would struggle to make our midfield, he would be a fringe player like Guerra, in and out of the side waiting for a midfield berth in years to come. Anyway back to the thread topic.
Adelaide by 73 points, Carey to kick 6.

I've been more than civil to you in the past given your constant repetitive trolling the same cliches.......I guess it comes from listening to your coach a bit too much........:D

Bode is pretty good, but strictly second string.

Of course he is.

You obviously don't watch the games too closely

Best give up your player of the year votes as you are obviously blind.

News just in...

The ground on Saturday will be in a shape of a triangle with 3 sets of goalposts...Ade vs Coll vs Port..Royal Rumble...

It'd certainly make an interesting ruck contest at the centre bounce.

Nah lets go back to the old-style footy and have all the 'interstaters' vs. the best-of-the-Vics, played on a 1-mile paddock on the border of SA, QLD, NSW and VIC (I think it exists somewhere), over 1 week. No holds barred. Weapons allowed.

Geez all hell has broken loose on this thread ... too much to read.

A few points:

Guey, are you suggesting that the Crows 54 point win over the Roos last week away was less impressive than the Power's 27 point win over Richmond? Both were pretty scrappy games, but at least we are winning playing well below our best unlike say the Pies.

On Bodey, he plays both inside & outside. What I mean by that is he is good in tight in the clinches, but also effective finding space by running hard (he is particularly good in the 2nd halves of games when his endurance comes into play).

I wouldn't call Bodey a "great" player yet in the same mould as McLeod, Ricciuto or Goodwin (when fit), but he not too far behind with the likes of Edwards, Stenglein, Bickley & Ladhams.

The Bode / S Burgoyne trade was a win/win situation for both clubs IMO. Jnr B is becoming a very handy player & will get better ... but so will Bodey. I couldn't really care less whether you guys reckon he would make your best-22 as it is irrelevant.

Back to the topic, I'm confident that Stinger will keep Bucks under control & we should win reasonably comfortably. I expect MM to have Pies come out firing Saturday night though after 3 losses.

As I've already said it was a win/win/win (Adelaide/Port/Bode) situation for all involved. As for the making our best 22 we were only responding to comments made by one of your fellow supporters......I agree again irrelevant.

As for this game I'd see Adelaide winning by 2 - 4 goals but would love to see Collingwood get up for a win - not sure Mick has any more mind games left after the last couple of weeks though.

No, I wasn't suggesting this at all. We are playing at about 80% at the moment, mainly due to key players being out.

However, Collingwood is a dyamic line-up, and they are a top four, perhaps top two line-up, who plays AAMI as if it were their home ground. You don't carry such form for three weeks. I think they'll bounce back, so it looks as if we'll have to agree to disagree.

Unfortunately Collingwood's form does not suggest they'll beat the Crows. But we live in hope.

That would make it a game in three halves then...

A out-of-form team pulling their finger out to win the following week is an occurrence that happens umpteen times per AFL season. I've tipped one here.

So you're saying Melbourne's going to win on Sunday?
