Had a couple of old lounge chairs from my grandparents (died over 20+ years ago) repaired and these items were found in them.

Ah, the distinctive silhouette of the MiG-15 and the P-80 Shooting Star!
Say what?
Captain Steve Savage is flying a P-80 Shooting Star, and he is shooting down a MiG-15 of the "Red Suicide Squadron". The P-80 is a late world war 2 design, while the MiG-15 is from the early 50s. Both aircraft are quite distinctive, even when roughly rendered in a comic book.
Funny what you find down the back of a loungeThanks.
These comic books had slid down the back of the chair and into the bottom. Dear old mum (who will be is 86 in June) said the Buck Rogers comic was hers and given she got married in late 1956 it would be at least 65 years old (possibly more). The Captain Steve Savage was not hers so I assume it was my grandfather’s comic.

Some of those old comics sell for ridiculous amounts theses days, I wonder what they are worth ?
You didn't show the photo of the wad of money they had stashed down there ?![]()
