And Joe Daniher and Tom Hawkins, former father/son KPs who were also U/18 AAs, and the two most comparable scenarios to Darcy Moore, are both killing it.
Wouldnt say Daniher has killed anything but certainly shown with time he will be a player. I consider what cameron did in his 2nd year killing it.

Hawkins as well took quite a while to hit his straps. I guess either way they have or will become good players and guns.

Couple of things I liked from Darcy yesterday. One was his willingness to tackle. Given his slight frame you might expect him to be a little reluctant of going in hard for the tackle but he really dug in and with his long arms he was able to stick them well. The other was on one occasion a teammate was running along the wing and Darcy was up on the sideline encouraging him from the the interchange. Its only a little thing that you imagine is a given, but some guys just aren't that way inclined. To me the reason why he seems like good prospect is he ticks a lot of boxes like athleticism, leadership, physicality, things that you can't necessarily teach, while the things he can improve on like strength and endurance can be worked on.

I would like :
Paul Ahern first round pick.
Darcy Moore second round pick father son.
I'd like a threesome with Kate Upton and Eva Green... Neither are gonna happen, though I reckon mine's probably more likely than yours.

I rekon if yours happened you wouldn't give a sh*t if we got Cameron Ablett and Dangerfield. You would just be lying on the couch with a permanent stupid grin plastered on your face for the next year or so

I consider those to be unreasonably high standards.

Joe Daniher is doing as well as anyone could rationally expect from a young player.
That statement is different to killing it, why didn't you quote my whole post which "rationally" said "Wouldnt say Daniher has killed anything but certainly shown with time he will be a player".

Daniher will be a massive handful to any defender in 2 or 3 years.
Which is what i was basically saying.

Shown enough signs he will become a good player but far from "killing it".

Obviously it would be great if Moore turned into a great collingwood player.....point ive been making is there are no certianties. Ayce Cordy certianly isnt doing much as a former 1st round KPF.

EIther is Tyron Vikery and shaun McKernan who were U18 champ AAs.
Did Moore sleep with your wife? You really have it in for the kid

Not that I know of!

And no I don't have it in for him....he may be a good footy player....I have just seen a lot more talent in the u18s. Good luck to him....time will tell if he's going to make the cut.
I don't have a problem with you expressing your opinion in the slightest, but I'd just advise to take stock of the thread. Even though it's great to have balanced views this is very much a love in!

It's probably a thread that will see you met with a lot of resistance (unless you're an expert on jnr footy) especially considering Moore is a no brainer as a top 10 selection :thumbsu:

Name one KPP player that has had a better year? You have to remember the kid has not done a pre-season as he was recovering from hip surgery and was sick all week he was always going to fade in the second half
