Tiers
i'll just call this top group elite i guess, players in brackets mean they are on the border of the tier

Elite Tier: Horne, Daicos, Darcy (Callaghan) Ranges:1-3 (4th)

Top Tier: Erasmus, Goater, Hobbs, Fahey, Johnson, Roberts (Sinn, Rachele, Ward, Long) Ranges:5-10 (11-14) for me there seems to be a clear top 10 from my PoV atm

2nd Tier: Amiss, Van Rooyen, Browne, Knevitt, Sonsie, MacDonald, Conway, Draper, Jackson, Wanganeen-Milera, Gibcus, Soligo, Chesser, Banks, Molan, Wilmot, Andrew (Clarke, Brown, Curtis, Williams, Burgoyne, C.Hamilton, Owens) Ranges:15-31 (32-38)

38 all up, was thinking maybe Lohmann or Warner and Dittmar - WA could work their way in or Uwland from GC-A?, work in progress, but this is how i see it atm...

South Adel V North Adel
South Adel V North Adel (quality moment count)

#33 Horne-Francis - (6) gets caught too often, needs to quicken his poss, too often taking the 2nd or 3rd option and putting himself under pressure i think, got belted twice, does a lot of unrewarded work in the contests, tough bugger for a youngster, not one of his best games and again makes me want to put Daicos as the number 1 pick, he has great speed but he takes too long at times, needs to be quicker of mind and take the first option because i love his game i just wish he would stamp himself as the clear pick 1, but im starting to think it might be Daicos or Darcy because i have more faith they can dominate a champs game if it goes ahead whereas im not so sure Horne can dominate a champs game with his delayed use of the footy and if he was delayed because he is making quality decisions and created space that would be good, but he often delays and puts himself under pressure or gets caught and doesnt seem to learn from it which is a concern, i still rate him highly because he has so many great traits, he just needs to quicken his decision making imo.

#44 Roberts - (12) really impressive game, imo the best of the 3 youngsters, clean and quick poss, quick of mind, really like what i see and confirms to me he is a top 10 quality mid in this draft, sometimes hitting team mates other times gaining meterage for his team, gets involved in a lot of contests, beat Andrew Moore an ex afl player and captain at Box Hill who i think is a solid footballer as i saw him for a few seasons at Box Hill and know he isnt an easy beat, so good scalp for the youngster imo, played mostly wing but had a few runs in the midfield, looked good in both positions, also can go forward so has good flexibility, couple of poor inside 50 kicks, but in general i like how he moves the ball on quickly, probably needs to lower his eyes more often is the only criticism i could throw his way.

#45 Draper - (7) lost most of his first 10 contests, too often ending up lying on the ball in a tackle, got an easy goal from a defender kicking it straight to him 20m out in straight in front for a gift goal, took 2 strong contested marks on leads(i dont know if they were official contested marks or just strong marks on a lead with a defender right behind him), had another lead with separation and centred the ball to a player in space, had another sharp handball in close, nice couple of leads on the half forw and a good inside 50 so had a few moments, but overall i would say lost/neutralised 70% of contests, but for a debut it was decent and got some space late in the last quarter when the heat went out of the game.

none of them changed my thoughts on where i think they rank, maybe Horne not being clear cut 1st pick, i think Horne is still very good just behind Daicos because ive seen so many quality games from Daicos, Horne is just such a beast physically i wish he got it more and used it more quickly, Roberts looks top 10 to me and Draper looks late first early 2nd round to me still after this game.

Thoughts on some WA Talent
just some thoughts on some WA Talent

Jye Amiss scoring 49.12 from 12 games, only kicked 2 goals this weekend, i also like how he plays, he is a tall skinny kid at the moment but he has a long reach and looks quite quick when in motion, looks like he has decent athleticism but i would like combine results or to see more game footage for a better understanding of how he plays

Jacob Van Rooyen scoring 21.9 from 5 games Colts, 3.3 from 5 games at League level earlier in the year when he was diagnosed with glandular fever, very athletic leading forward/defender, finding form now and looking good for the champs/finals

Jack Williams scoring 29.19 from 10 games Colts, strong bodied tall forw, also finding form now that we're leading into possible champs/finals to put his best foot forward.

Joshua Browne Averaging 32.9 disp from 10 games, scoring 8.6 and averaging 3 tackles and marks a game, liked what i have seen from him last year and this year, i have him in that 15-31 group atm

Neil Erasmus Averaging 28 disp from 4 games, 8 marks 4 tackles scoring 1.3 at Colts level in the mid, playing top tier footy in the Perth School footy(PSA) as well, very exciting talent who can play as well forward as he can midfield, should be one to watch for the champs/finals

Matthew Johnson Averaging 21.3 disp from 6 games, 4 marks, 6 tackles, scoring 3.1, had a game at reserves and 3 games in the WAFL where he was ok, but was played out of position and so was not as effective as he couldve been, but he is still young and has a slim frame.

other WA Talent to keep an eye out for Jesse Motlop, Corey Warner and Kade Dittmar

Rucks
Rucks: imo the ruck division is really shallow, i can see approximately 4 candidates

1. Toby Conway 204cm 90kg - Geelong Falcons big man, similar build and style to Ben McEvoy as someone else pointed out which i agree with, very strong in the ruck and around the ground which i like to see from rucks, easily the best Ruck option in the draft pool, his Academy game was ok, he gave away a few free kicks in the centre when he got the opportunity but his play in general was the most impressive of the 3 rucks imo.

2. Mac Andrew 200cm 70kg - Dandenong Stingrays, plays back up to Conway in the Vic Country set up and also plays forward, similar to Mabior Chol, people are excited by his potential athletic advantage he could bring, but he is still raw and not the complete package yet, he has been hyped up a lot and is unlikely to get to the Demons post pick 20 as their NGA, had a great burst of impact in the Academy game V Geelong which got people hyped about his potential.

3. Dante Visentini 201cm 88kg - Sandringham Dragons, at the start of the year was struggling to get game time behind Jacob Edwards and Max Heath, but after the mid season draft started to show some talent and ability to play ruck at a decent level.

4. Luke Elphinstone 202cm 87kg - Tasmania Devils, very raw project ruck i noticed in a couple of games, very skinny kid who has a bit of talent and could be a rookie selection if a team is looking for a project ruck?

Tiers
updated a little, added Aleer, Uwland and Motlop

Elite Tier: Horne, Daicos, Darcy (Callaghan) Ranges:1-3 (4th)

Top Tier: Erasmus, Goater, Hobbs, Fahey, Johnson, Roberts (Sinn, Rachele, Ward, Long) Ranges:5-10 (11-14) for me there seems to be a clear top 10 from my PoV atm

2nd Tier: Amiss, Van Rooyen, J.Browne, Knevitt, Sonsie, MacDonald, Conway, Draper, Jackson, Wanganeen-Milera, Gibcus, Soligo, Chesser, Banks, Molan, Wilmot, Andrew, Aleer(Clarke, T.Brown, Curtis, Williams, J.Burgoyne, C.Hamilton, Owens, Uwland, Motlop) Ranges:15-32 (33-41)

players i like that are possible late picks (Beecken, Linke, Whitelum, Ferres, Willis, Lohmann, Morrison, H.Hamilton, Dib, Rossimel, Rankin, Visentini, Windhager, Dittmar, Sheldrick, Stretch, Chipper, J.Young, T.Murray)

KPPs
ok so i did a preview of the ruck talent i think could be draftable in 2021, now i have a look at the KPP Talent that i think is draftable, its also a shallow list with a few raw players who are more based on potential than proven talent.

Sam Darcy 204cm 75kg? - KPD/KPF - has had a couple of dominant games for Oakleigh as a CHB, his aerial game is high quality and is competitive when the ball hits the ground also, very athletic big man in the style of one of the King Twins in stature and athleticism, has dominated school footy in Melbourne averaging 5 goals a game, kicked 6 goals in a Vic Metro Trial game and 2 in the challenge game, likely to go top 2-3 in the draft

Josh Gibcus 195cm 84kg - KPD - i have him more as a 2nd rounder, but some have him going first round, even potentially top 5, from what i have seen he seems like a decent interceptor and defends tall forwards, some clubs are very keen on getting a tall defender and may reach for needs and the hype surrounding him has boosted his value potentially.

Jye Amiss 195cm 83kg - KPF - has jumped up draft boards recently thanks to his goal kicking, on the verge of kicking 50 goals+ in the WAFL Colts, long reach, relatively quick on a lead, stay at home forward, accurate kick at goal, any club looking for a number 1 forward might be looking at Amiss to play that role in the AFL in the next couple years.

Jacob Van Rooyen 194cm 88kg - KPF/KPD - athletic endurance leading forward who can also play defence if needed, Naughton type tall that flies for his marks was valued highly at the start of the year and has dropped back into the pack, could be a value pick up late in the first round.

Jack Williams 195cm 91kg - KPF/KPD - strong bodied tall forw who has also had games as a defender in previous years, Hawkins style forward, relying on strength over athleticism.

Leek Aleer 196cm 84kg - KPD - intercept tall defender in the style of a Aliir Aliir or a Jeremy McGovern, flies for his marks and has good timing in his leap, also a good spoil of the ball and competent disposal out of defence, one of the better mature age prospects as a 20 year old?.

Oscar Morrison 193cm 86kg - KPD - has played as a tall defender for Geelong and Vic Country and has had some eye catching games

Rhett Bazzo 195cm 81kg - KPD - a player that has dropped away as a potential prospect, but still has some value especially for teams looking for a tall defender mid-late draft?

Caleb Lewis 196cm 86kg - KPD - Sandringham tall defender, could be a roughie late in the draft, from a strong Sandringham team

Jack Rossimel 193cm 89kg - KPF - Northern Knights tall forward, has looked skillful and leads strong, could be a late option at the draft

Jacob Young 196cm 78kg - KPF - Tasmanian tall forw, another with a chance to be drafted, good lead and good competitive streak

Toby Murray 198cm 80kg - KPF - Murray Bushrangers tall forw, a lot of raw potential and is another draft possible

Josh Rentsch 197cm 100kg - KPF - GWV tall forw, saw him in 2019, has not developed as much as i was hoping, but is a strongly built tall forw in the Hawkins style, could get a chance late/rookie?

WA V SA Half Time thoughts
WA V SA Half Time (36-17)

WA have dominated in general, they have the better midfield, better ruck and better talls around the ground

WA Best so far:
Dittmar - physical beast of a midfielder, putting Horne-Francis to shame, great game and is definitely boosting his draft stocks (1 goal)
Johnson - sublime foot skills and has been the catalyst of many quality forward entries for WA
Amiss - the best leading forward on the ground and capped it off with a special goal from the boundary on the run 40m out, reminds me of a couple of years ago when Ky Pickett and Elijah Hollands kicked similar goals (2 goals)
Tunstill - throws himself in the contest and has used the footy particularly well, have heard about him, but this is the first time ive seen him in a full game and he has been a pleasant surprise
Van Rooyen - has a few intercept marks and good spoils, dominating off of half back and looking really good, will boost his draft stocks as well imo
Chipper - last minute call up and has been good off half back and wing for WA, linked well with important gathers and linking with team mates
Bazzo - intercept/spoiling playing pretty well for WA so far
Hagan - also showing a lot for a 2022 draft kid, tough little bugger

a few others playing well so far, Benning, Regan and Browne (Sheldrick, Warner, South, Woewodin, Motlop and Hough doing ok)

SA Best so far:
Roberts - had a huge 2nd quarter and provided a lot of rebound from defence and through the mid, even kicked a goal for SA
Wanganeen-Milera - skillful winger, has huge impact per poss and always performs in big games it seems
Horne-Francis - has bursts of class here and there, but needs to get in the play more often
Burgoyne - is a good link up player, but isnt very penetrating or hurt the opposition by foot enough
Ferres - providing a target off of half forw and giving SA a focal point to work through

a few other players playing well (Liddy, Draper, Owens, Beecken)

WA - SA Game Full Time thoughts
WA - SA Game Full Time, WA win convincingly, they had the better midfield group, they had the better ruck, they had the better KPP group and they had the better depth of talent, SA had very few good players that were key position height Ferres and maybe Lukac, so WA talls dominated.

WA Best:
13 - Matthew Johnson, highly skilled performance, he isnt fast in movement, but he makes good decisions and hit targets for the most part, really stamped himself on the game today
13 - Kade Dittmar, probably the best inside midfielder on the ground, showed up Horne-Francis in the middle and was clean with poss around the ground, very impressive game, major reason WA had so much drive from clearances
12 - Josh Browne, really put his body on the line and playing a tough inside/outside brand of football, all game won the hard ball feeding runners
10 - Jacob Van Rooyen, intercepting with ease, spoiling and generally making it impossible for SA to get forward momentum, his rebound was decent too and showed his athletic qualities that can be used forward or back
10 - Jed Hagan, the underager really played a tough brand of footy, playing mostly on the flanks he created a lot of drive from defence
9 - James Tunstill, had a great first half where he was a part of that dominant midfield, similar to Browne in physique and play style, i liked what i saw from him in the mid
8 - Jye Amiss, the dominant forward of the game, kicked 2 goals passed it off a few times to team mates, if he was more selfish + accurate couldve ended up with 5 or so, loved his leads up the ground and a great snap from the boundary approx 40m out on the run
8 - Rhett Bazzo, another dominant big man in defence, showed good aerial skills and nearly kicked a goal floating forward
8 - Ethan Regan, another competitive big man, WCE might have an NGA finally, plays more like a kpp sized midfielder who can also play KPP, so a lot of raw potential.
7 - Max Chipper, last minute call up and played a steady half back flanker style of game, solid disposal, good under pressure
7 - Jack Williams, struggled a bit as a forward, finally kicking a goal after missing from 30m straight in front after Amiss set him up, but i thought as a ruck and defender he had a bit more influence and did some nice things, but i still think he lacks athleticism like the Boyds/Pattons ect of the past

i also think Benning is a good player for Frem NGA, very athletic and exciting type, Motlop looks good as a crumbing and potentially pressure forward, Hough was a bit selfish and tried to kick goals from range rather than set up team mates, the opposite to Amiss, but was dangerous and dangerous forwards are money, Sheldrick could be a good fringe player at AFL level, Woewodin, South and Warner showed a little bit of talent and could be late pick ups, South got talked up a bit by the commentators, but he was basically rucking against someone who seemed to really struggle at the level.

SA Best:
11 - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, very classy skillful winger, has impressed me now half a dozen times in big games, he just keeps producing in big games, will be an absolute bargain come draft time
9 - Jason Horne-Francis, in the midfield he had little influence, it was when he went forward he came into the game a bit more, has plateaued this year, i keep wanting to see him dominate and im constantly disappointed, he does show some bursts of potential with strong marks or strong tackles ect, but struggles to put 4 quarters together consistently from the approx 10 games ive seen.
8 - Morgan Ferres, provided a much needed link going forward for SA, i just wish he had played more inside 50 and was a goal kicking target because SA were not dangerous going forward, he presented well all game and then tried to play back in the last quarter where he looked a bit lost
8 - Cooper Beecken, played a pretty solid game, even though Becker got more poss, he would turn it over or put it in a bad place for a team mate and i couldnt give him credit for it, whereas Beecken was more clean and solid with poss imo
8 - Matthew Roberts, had a great 2nd quarter where SA got some momentum and kicked a couple of goals, ended up kicking a goal and having a decent game even though he played half back, half forward and a few midfield contests, rather than just playing inside mid for most of the game.
7 - Jase Burgoyne, got a lot of poss, but most of them were dinky 15m passes sideways or backwards that didnt generate run or better avenues to attack
7 - Mani Liddy, the overager was one of few centre clearance winning inside mids for SA, but he lacks a fair bit of draft potential imo, had a good game for the team though, they would have been embarrassed without him
7 - Lewis Rayson, tried hard all day with the ball in his zone a lot because of the WA midfield dominance, provided run and carry, but not the greatest showing for him

i also think Draper had some good moments in mid and forward, kicked a goal and looked decent, Owens had some good moments off of half back, Becker was SA's best tall defender, but he only really fed on the few poor WA inside 50's and was not the best decision maker or disposer of the footy, Lister also had a good game and fed on loose ball in the back half, but im not sure those qualities are what recruiters are looking for?, a few big names in Hugh Jackson, Blayne O'Loughlin, Hugh Stagg, Isaac Birt, Lucas Cooke, Isaiah Dudley and their Ruck had very little positive influence on the game.

Best 19 year olds
Best 19 year olds imo

there were a few i liked that missed being drafted last year and most got selected in the SSP and the MSD, these are the ones that have missed out so far, but i think have draft potential

Luke Cleary - medium sized half back for Sandringham Dragons, has been a good intercept and rebounder and uses the ball quite well.

Joel Trudgeon - tall midfielder who can push forward and take some good contested marks for Northern Knights, one i spotted early in the season, i really liked how he plays as that strong bull in the midfield and pushes forward to be a danger in front of goals.

Chance Doultree - inside/outside mid for Gippsland Power, similar to Hugh Jackson in that he has good speed, can find the ball and can be a goal kicking threat, i think he is a talent from what i saw of him early in the season, seems consistent, not sure where he has been the 2nd half of the season?

Noah Gribble - inside midfielder for Geelong, he was one i wasnt sure of in 2019, then he got a knee injury and then the cancellation of 2020, but his 2021 has been very impressive, he is just a workhorse in the centre and seems to have a high motivation to make it to the AFL.

Tassie v Qld U17s and U19s thoughts
u17's Tassie dominated Qld

players that stood out

Seth Campbell - tassie sml forw, very clean, kicked 4 goals, beautiful kicking skills, clean hands, good outside of 50 as well as inside 50, Josh Rachele comparison
Cameron Owen - tassie ruckman, good tap ruk, hit out to advantage, competitive in the air and wins clearances, not as athletic as i would like, but has all the skills needed
Lachlan Cowan - tassie hbf/wing, good run and carry, intercept marking, has good acceleration, good size, needs improvement on running patterns
Saunders - is a good accumulator, but his shots on goal and long kicking seem to be a weakness of his, has good endurance it seems and knows where the footy is

Levi Fyfe - (GCS A-2022)really competitive, wins 1 on 1's, clean hands, kicking needs some work, but most of his game is high quality
MacMillian - (Bris A-2022)solid disposal, came into thegame more in the 2nd half, decent mid, lacks a little pace, but theres something to work with

u19's Qld just beat Tassie

players that stood out

Will Bella - (GCS A)very strong bodied player with good skills around the ground and good overhead, decent height, could be a late draft bid
Jaspar Fletcher - (Bris A F/S - 2022)moves well and looks like another good father son prospect for Brisbane next year, lovely running goal and a few silky plays on the wing.

WA V SA Game 2 before the AFL Grand Final
WA V SA Game 2 before the AFL Grand Final

WA won again, unfortunately Amiss hurt his knee and Draper hurt his collarbone, both looked good prior to injuries

WA:
Arthur Jones just put himself in draft contention, with an excellent wing performance, filled with hard running, bravery and skill, with a couple of goals
Brady Hough was solid all game in midfield, got a 50m penalty for an easy goal, looks good as a forw/mid prospect
Matthew Johnson started slowly with some poss but a bit sloppy, he came good with poss in the 2nd half
Kane Bevan had some moments where his hands were so strong and clean, some pick ups and contested marks for a mid that were Bartell like
Kade Dittmar was quiet in the first half when he was forw, but his 2nd half in the midfield was much more impactful
Jacob Van Rooyen was solid in defence, using the ball quite well and then kicked the match winning goal
Jackson Broadbent is a strong ruck, i really like how he plays, not just a tap ruck but useful around the ground and in clearances
Finn Gorringe is a really good leader for this group this year, he just helps gel this group together

SA:
Adam D'Aloia was the best midfielder on the ground, really talented kid for 2022
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is just all class, was ok in the first half, but really helped SA comeback and nearly steal the win
Lewis Rayson was a good running link on the wing, helped create drive into f50
Mady Liddy was once again a strong centre clearance player for SA, he partnered well with D'Aloia

Arlo Draper, Isaiah Dudley, Max Michallaney, Shay Linke and Harry Lemmey were also good contributors during the game

Best 10 players in the open draft
i wanted to name my best 10 players outside of F/S and Academy players in the open draft, this will differ from media predictions and even what clubs have said recently, i just wanted to name my favourite 10 players

Jason Horne-Francis - last year i thought he was the clear number 1 talent prior to seeing Daicos play and that has changed a little as i think Daicos is the better and more consistent player both at accumulating poss, kicking goals and general poss as well as composure and general play, but JHF has a more explosive game offensively and defensively but can go missing for spells.

Finn Callaghan - i really like his evasiveness, speed and clever use of the footy, more an outside player, he showed he can handle a more contested role playing inside mid and having some good games, had an ordinary AFL Academy game on the wing and a small concern on contested side of his game, but he has a lot to like about his game otherwise.

Ben Hobbs - similar to Daicos in that he wins a lot of ball in tight, doesnt have the goal kicking ability that Daicos does, but has a strong contested side to his game, very tough in and under player who should go early on draft night

Neil Erasmus - his game is more suited to playing as a half forw, but similar to Draper can play midfield to a decent level accumulating big numbers as well as floating forward and taking contested marks and kicking goals, good disposal and being clean with hands and decision making, he also has a very competitive attitude and looks like a great pick up for a team in the top 10

Josh Goater - what really stood out to me was his acceleration from a contest, as well as being a tall midfielder and good disposal, he is more an outside player, but if he wins the ball from a clearance situation he can burst away and create separation to them deliver unaffected into the f50

Jye Amiss - seeing how he plays i really like his leading and his speed on the lead, he also has good agility to get around players, i liked and didnt like how unselfish he was in the WA V SA game, but the way he won the ball and created opportunity with the ball in hand for a big forward was impressive and the goal from 40m on the boundary on the run showed he has some special capabilities

Josh Ward - again a fairly quick but smaller player, outside/inside player, had a great patch of form prior to lockdown, started the season OK, but really ramped up prior to the lockdown to put his name up there as a top 10 draftee, Goater and Ward outperformed Daicos in the 1 Challenge game(Faux Champs Game) which was a good effort

Josh Rachele - his 2019 season was a standout season, playing top level footy as a under underager, his 2021 season hasnt been as explosive or impressive and i think that has to do with the bigger bodies of the 19 year olds creating more contested footy in the NAB League, theres more bigger bodies and fitter players creating less space and time, but what stands out is his disposal and composure in the forw/mid

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - i was impressed last season with how he stepped up in big games and again this year he has done the same, his evasiveness is also something i really appreciate and has been in SA's top 3 in both champs games, if not their best, he has rocketed up the rankings in recent times, but i think its because of his collected form over the last 2 seasons that has me confident he will perform well at the next level

Ned Long - at this last spot i was considering a couple of other players (Knevitt and Johnson) but i landed on Long, he was sensational earlier in the season, not only was he a strong big bodied inside mid, but when he floated forw he would kick bags of goals for fun, i really liked his competitive nature and strength in the contest as well as his footy iq when he had the footy and his ability to win contested footy.

Thoughts on SA v WA
SA V WA - 3rd match, 10 point win to WA

bests:
WA: Dittmar, Sheldrick, Browne, Tunstill, J.Williams, Jones, Hough
SA: D'Aloia, Roberts, Linke, Burgoyne, Ferres

what i took out of the game was that Roberts is looking less likely as a top 15 pick, J.Williams is not looking like a top 30 pick, Tunstill did really well (improving his stocks), Dittmar is such a tough midfielder/forw(improving his stocks), D'Aloia looks great for 2022, Ferres is decent but wish he kicked more goals, probably Burgoynes best game in the series, Sheldrick just works his butt off every game(improving his stocks), Linke showed he has some ability(improving his stocks), but overall not a great contest and lacking a lot of the high end talent.

Rumour Mill Top 10
updating potential top 10 from the rumour mill

pick 1 - North - JHF (he wants pick 1 and they have refused to trade it so it seems logical they will use pick 1 on him to reaffirm he is the best talent in the draft)
pick 2 - Coll - Nick Daicos (could go 1 but signs from North are that JHF will go 1, so its likely GWS bid on him as he would be a steal if not matched)
pick 3 - Western - Sam Darcy (again GWS bid and try and steal the best KPP prospect in the draft pool who can play at both ends of the ground and tall enough to also try out ruck eventually at 205.5cm)
pick 4 - GWS - Finn Callaghan (they have been linked to Andrew and Gibcus throughout the year, but most journos believe they are a lock now to take Callaghan)
pick 5 - GCS - Jye Amiss (they have also been linked to Andrew and Gibcus for awhile, but theres an interesting rumour they are into Amiss and im going with it for now)
pick 6 - Adel - Josh Rachele (they have been linked to Rachele for a couple months and his performance at the training drill held a few days ago where he looked AFL ready makes this more likely imo)
pick 7 - Haw - Josh Ward (this pick is hard to gauge, we've been linked to Andrew, we also could go Hobbs, theres also a chance we go Erasmus/Johnson, this is where it starts to become a bit unknown, but i think Wards run and delivery could be an attractive quality)
pick 8 - Frem - Neil Erasmus (i think Erasmus as a HFF/Mid gives them scoring power and midfield depth, kindve like what Walters does for them but in a diffrent style of player and they need more scoring power imo)
pick 9 - Rich - Ben Hobbs (they have been linked to Hobbs for awhile, he is a richmond fan and gives them a tough leader in the guts that they need to replace soon, if he makes it here it would be a perfect fit, although they have also been linked to Sinn? and maybe Gibcus to replace their recent KPD retirees?)
pick 10 - Frem - Mac Andrew (after missing out on Amiss i think they take Andrew who interviews well and has potential to build into a good KPF/Ruck in the near future, i think they will be looking to maybe develop him into a KPF who can play backup ruck?) but this pick could be anyone, it really is up in the air imo, could also be Johnson or Sinn or some other pick here maybe even Gibcus? could also be the big game performer in NWM?, theres plenty of options

Mid-late draft value picks
i think some players who might go mid to late draft that are great value imo(potentially criminally under rated)

Paul Curtis - Western Jets (was in the top 6 or so players for Vic Metro)
Sam Banks - Tasmania (top end athleticism and good disposal)
Cooper Beecken - Glenlg (played well for SA in the state games and was a stand out last year in a intra state game)
Josh Browne - East Frem (dominated for WA in the state series, dominated for East Frem averaging 32 disposals a game in Colts footy)
Kade Dittmar - East Perth (dominated for WA when he played midfield, has been good as a forw/mid in Colts footy)
Morgan Ferres - Sturt (was one of SA best in the state series)
Ned Long - Northern Knights (dominant early in the season, big body with surprising agility and speed off the mark, also great contested mark in the forward line)
Charlie Molan - GWV (great interceptor, had a great game for VC and when he is on really can turn the game for his team)
James Tunstill - East Perth (stood up in the state games for WA with tidy disposal)

i was going to mention Jake Soligo but he got mentioned in Cal Twomeys top 35 recently, Josh Fahey should be bid on in the first round too imo
