Beams is our number two midfield and Sidebottom our number three midfielder. Swan and Ball are those fourth and fifth critical components to the midfield. Broomhead and Freeman next year for further polish through there may get some minutes and Adams and Kennedy can also get some minutes but other than that group and Pendlebury no others should in my view receive midfield minutes.

If Macaffer and Blair get moved out of the midfield we'd be better placed.

Can we play these two in the same midfield?

They are both uncountable and found out against West Coast.

Both though are proven goal kickers. They should rotate between the midfield and half-forward. They would kick more goals and we'd only have one less uncountable player in the midfield.

We won a premiership with both of them mainly playing on the HFF. Sidebottom isn't really a clearance machine so him playing as a HHF wouldn't hurt us. With Beams we should just give Swan and Ball more midfield time as they really can't play as forwards.
