The bigger issue going forward will be the reaction to what, lets face it, seems to be a perfectly orchestrated poaching expedition, initiated by Brisbane. Lets not con ourselves, this has been brewing for a while, and done in a fashion calculated to **** us over. Congratulations, well played.

We seem a club content to pick very modestly performed players and hype them up to be stars.

The whole message was either poorly worded or an attempt to scare Brisbane to offer a much better offer. Pretty low if it was the second alternative because it confused the supporters that it was sent to. They should have said the negotiations with Brisbane have broken down and we are now fielding offers from other clubs, although this doesn't exclude still getting a deal done with Brisbane if the offer is much improved.

Yes yes yes. Have always thought we need to salvage something from this disastrous trade period and this may get us a decent mid either Brayshaw or Petracca.
