hey lemmings,

I would like the average punters opinion on which team has a list that bats deepest. Usually this is the key to success.

Which team heading into the 2016 has the most players of an AFL standard?

The hawks do. Reckon maybe west coast have the second best although the injuries were masked by a brilliant coaching display.
We're in decent shape at the moment as well.

West Coast is a great call. No one gave them a chance at the start of the year due to injury, made a lazy GF. Now they have a full squad it's scary.

This is as deep North have rolled for a long time

For the first time in a while I would be more than happy for almost anyone in the squad to get games. The VFL players and draftees from the previous 2 seasons and also last season look to be awesome recruits. But yeah I reckon the hawks and west coast own this thread

over the last few years hawks have lost a lot of depth but at one point they where a long way ahead of everyone else in this regard.

Out: Cheney, Lowden, Hallahan, Young, Savage, Ellis, Simpkin, Anderson, Suckling, Sewell, Guerra, Lake, Hale.

This. It's pretty much why I made this thread. Hawks have been by far the deepest list over the last few, but not any more I reckon. Maybe it's just because I haven't seen a lot of the ones coming though but IMO other lists are deeper now. Like West Coast, and I'm hoping North but were yet to see it so can't get too pumped up

The two grand finalists in hawthorn and the Eagles.
Next best... Port?

Do North have players at the elite level other than Goldy ?

Those saying Hawthorn are kidding themselves they hardly lose anyone to injury teams with injuries would have deeper lists hate to say it but teams like GWS and Collingwood are the teams with the deepest lists
2014 lost Sam Mitchell, Josh Gibson, Brian Lake, Luke Hodge, Ben Stratton, Brad Sewell, Liam Shiels, Jack Gunston just to name a few and still win the flag... Indicates a little bit of depth

There guys were best 22. You can't quite count them as depth.

Not suggesting the Crows have great depth but its improving. Link to the Adelaide bigfooty board concensus best 22..
