Just read the article on the demons.com.au website which is stating that basically rivers will get a rest this week for bizz. I think thats fine. It also stated jamar and jolly are good chances to place this week. It seems that our team lineup is getting stronger (although i know we just lost davey).
But im presuming Thompson will come back pretty soon, and Davey before the finals. This will give Bizz 6 games back and Jolly/Jamar 6 games back before finals. I think its all great news at the moment, and can only hope davey is only out for maximum 4 weeks. Ward would be right for this week too.
Lets hope that the next two weeks we can really give our %'s a big boost and try and cement a top 2 finish.

i wouldnt say that we just dont want ot risk rivers getting a more serious injury than just soreness

we probably wouldnt rest him unless Bizzell was ready to come back and he is

as for jolly/jamar coming back....it was bound 2 happen anyway

Yes & we have to watch that, but I do think resting Rivers if he's sore is sensible with Bizzell returning. No game for Sandy seniors or reserves this week so he could get a week off altogether. He's been on the go since Feb so maybe a rest will do him good.

I won't complain if Jared plays because I love watching him play, but if he needs a rest he gets it.

Good points and Rivers resting is offset by the return of the Bizz. But you can never underestimate the Richo factor.

Please flog us i mean really our percentage needs to go down so much so that we can be lower than hawthorn and they will get a few more wins so we can secure that spoon.

Wrenny, the % is in your own hands if you can lose by 4 more goals than them, you'll be right. Then you have to lose to them as well...good luck with that.

Would like a look at Tuck & Roach, Hall will play & hopefully Rodan.

how is rigoni getting another game ? he is hopeless. his skills are vfl level. he should stick at sandy. he was no good last year, and he won't be any better this year. playing rigoni just stops a slyvia or bell getting another game and improving. daniher should be employing the same strategy the whole year and play the young kids. its been awesome with rivers, miller, davey and thompson... Come on Daniher wake up !!! Lets give the players like sylvia and bell another game. They deserve it !!

Maybe they think that 20 minutes of game time in your first senior game for 10 weeks isn't enough to end a guy's career on...

I'll admit I'd have rather seen Bell in but Gus is over 25 & therefore obviously far inferior to stars like Sylvia & Bell...

You want Sylvia in on last weeks effort? C'mon, the kids have talent, but there's no harm in making them earn their games is there?

How is it thet they "deserve" a game more than Rigoni?
