I dunno bout that both goona be good Deledio is more verastile Which i Think is better and no longer the quickest at the Club I heard David Gourdis Is. I voted for Deledio by the way

Tough Decision.

Murphy is great under pressure whilst Deledio has X factor about him with his speed and can go forward and kick goals.

Neither teams would lose out if we did a direct swap at this stage

Yeah I agree if we did a swap know Both clubs wood be happy i would reckon

If both teams did a swap richmond would easilly be the the losers out of it. Delidio has pace, sublime foot skills and a good brain for it, he's got game changing attributes. Where as murphy i think is a very effective link man (which are also iimportant players) but i cant see him changing too many games, he'll just contribute to them.

Would never have guessed! :p

Me too... Murph's a gun, Deledio for mine though.

Nathan Jones.......But seriously i voted for Deledio because he has good height(more versetile) great pace good set of hands and exellent disposal of the ball. But i think both are very good players :thumbsu:

Murphy - classy, refined.... smooth mover will be a very good mid 08 and beyond.

Deledio - AFTERBURNERS>>>>>> Good hands, his 5? goal game towards the end of the season was a real eye opener. Massive upside

I voted Deledio simply because I would have him at the Hawks in a flash... Murphy not so much

Both future guns. I think deledio is more likely to become a player who will take a game apart with a 20 minute burst where Murphy is going to be a midfield workehorse type.

A couple more strings to deledio's bow but you would be happy with either.

How long before Gibbs comes up here?:)

Sublime footskills.... lets keep that for the top 3 or 4 kicks in the comp...

Deledio has very good skills!!

Murphy more likely to win a brownlow, as Carltons list will ensure that guys like Judd, Murphy and Gibbs will be polling huge numbers in coming seasons.

Deledio is a great player, probably Tigers best....but that aint going to win you a brownlow. Zero support.

These Richmond are better than Carlton and Carlton are better than Richmond arguements from supporters of either club I read on Big Footy are so lame!

Bring on round 1 I say!

Deledio's on my side and yeah, Murphy will be very handy (possibly great) footballer, but I see two quite different on ball types, as the old saying goes you can't compare apples to oranges.

Of the onballers at Carlton you could compare him to there's only Judd, who's a GUN, he has Deledio covered totally apart from maybe marking, and may be slightly slower only because of his groin trouble, or Andrew Walker who has yet to really step up and take on a big on ball role.

Just my 20c worth anyway!

I think it's a bit pointless comparing two no 1 draft picks from different years who are also two different types of players it's a bit like comparing Riewoldt with Hodge....

For mine if you want to make comaprissons better off doing it with say Deledio and Griffin, picks one and three from the 2004 draft, both tallish sized mids with a great burst of speed.... in that case i say that due to Griffins injury Deledio would be slightly ahead at this stage of their careers...

Deledio would be my pick over Murphy, just.

2 totally different players

Deledio - quick outside player who will run and carry it.

Murphy - Inside player who is composed and can really find the footy.

Both have wonderful balance and skills.

Deledio will never be the player Murphy is for the simple fact that being an outside player, he is more likely to go missing in games, as we have seen before. Where as Murphy wont. In saying that, If deledio is played in the right positions, he will become an invaluable player.

1 vote Murphy, More class then deledio

Hard to compare at this stage, but my vote's with Murph. Deledio stands out a bit more maybe because of his exciting pace and flashiness, but Murph has done pretty well given that he's had the No. 1 tagger riding him all last year.

I think this season all of you supporters from other clubs will get a bit of a surprise from what you see an untagged Murph getting up to...

Obviously you didn't see any of the 07 Collingwood V Carlton game ,most notably the 1st half.

they will both be very good no doubt, i don't think you can really seperate them much. i voted muphy mainly because i am biased, but i also value inside mids more than outside players on the wings.

hopefully they both shine next year and prove themsleves to be A+ players in a few years time.
