Well I am glad that such uproar has occurred.

Back in the 1970s and 80s, we would mutely lose by ten goals, match after match, and console ourselves by saying: that wasn't a bad effort - perhaps next week we'll get close to Hawthorn.

The playing group now has to follow suit. I don't care if we lose - that is the nature of the game - but my god I want to see some fight.

Seriously its pretty clear we can improve on the coaching front, our structures are poor and game day tactics even worse. Bailey wants to 'teach' the kids and be hands on walking the boundary line and then can't see the overall ground and has to rely on specialist coaches who surely see what we do but 'maybe' can't bring the change needed

I'm not sure why there's such a call for Dean Bailey's head.

Don't worry, we have Hawk posters on our board calling for Clarko's head because we lost a close match to the Cats.

But with Melbourne,

It's not like Melbourne have been at full strength either.

MightyHawks, I understand what you're saying, and I would be more than happy to be 2-1-2 IF we were actually showing signs of improvement. The fact is, our two wins haven't been impressive and our two losses have been disastrous. The draw was probably our most consistent effort this year.

Not saying I agree with 'sack Bailey' sentiment, but the reason above is why its around.
