Had a look at both huddles. One had old men roping off the huddle, along with ice packs, volume levels of a mouse, in quite a sterile environment.

3/4 time huddle at Sth Croydon was why I love footy. A mass of supporters, huge energy & support that the players clearly feed off & a coach that you can actually hear. Sent shivers up the spine.

I was in the outer & the amount of support for South from neutrals was enormous. So many people from many clubs vocally supporting the dogs as if it was their own club. Great for the game & competition, & I have never seen such a more popular result.

Great to see a club that has taken the initiative. The easy thing to do is whine about salary caps & points. Clearly the Dogs have gone beyond this. When I consider the final round of 2016 Richy, your point rings so true. Enjoy.

Really pleasing Rich. Thought their midfield depth would be a concern with some of our absentees but hung in there, & got a nice result.

& yes the boy can play, but there was plenty of others that stood up. Going to be a great comp this season, with many sides having had nice off seasons.

Only saw the last quarter but surprised with lack of height in both sides.Just hate the way EFL football is going with sides now trying to play games in one half of the ground,not a good look.

Whelan only one who finished in top 5 B&F in 2017, all others 3. When others come in points will be pushing the maximum.

Absolutely amazing game today between the Noble Park Bulls and last years Premiers South Croydon Bulldogs. Went right down to the wire, high scoring and with a finals like atmosphere…one of the best games I've been to. Daughters bf plays for the Bulls, they lost in the dying minute but put up a fantastic showing with our boy kicking 4 goals and BOG.
It's going to be a great season in the EFL
