I quoted a player's research. Apparently that bit went above your limited brain capacity.Correct you just make up shite and then claim it as fact and supported by "research".
Went down like a sack of shit in the final against Brisbane early in the 3rd quarter and the lions ran through them after that.Run out of gas after a quarter
You couldn't even get that right.I quoted a player's research. Apparently that bit went above your limited brain capacity.
Nick was also top5 in CPs in 2024, it really ain't hard to check this stuff.Regardless, last year was the only year Nick has finished top 5 in one of those stats(clearances) and was nowhere near it in the other years.
Hahaha, you running with another fact!Just highlights the fact that umpires clearly value contested players over outside receivers.

That is the issue with DeGoey, has never really been fit since 2023.Went down like a sack of shit in the final against Brisbane early in the 3rd quarter and the lions ran through them after that.
Simple question: Who won the Brownlow and when was the last time an uncontested, outside receiver won it?You couldn't even get that right.

Hahaha, you running with another fact!
Bailer Smith and Finn Callaghan went alright this year, the handball receive kings.
Umpires tend to award votes to the best midfielders in the game, so unsurprising that in the three seasons where Nick has played in the midfield that he has received more votes than any other player.
What a stupid question.Simple question: Who won the Brownlow and when was the last time an uncontested, outside receiver won it?
What a stupid question.
The best midfielders can win their own ball. Even the handball receive kings like Callaghan, Z.Merrett, B.Smith can win their own ball.
But apart from Neale in 2023, the previous Brownlow winner who wasn't top5 for contested possessions or clearances was Dustin Martin in 2017 #FACT
I'll be 78 in a number of weeks (Feb) but there you go....."I'll take it easy on ya"..... why attempt to upset anyone about anything just for you're own satisfaction? I just don't understand that way of thinking. How old are ya mate? I'll take it easy on ya. I didn't realise there were 85+ year olds running around here. My apologies.
The moment Cripps got 45 votes is the moment that Brownlow vote tallies jumped the proverbial shark. Brownlow votes are not completely irrelevant, but they get less relevant by the year. Now umpires have been given back access to stats we may see voting revert to something resembling reality.Sure.
But I find it interesting that noone was nominating Rowell as 'better than Nic' BEFORE the 2025 Brownlow count, and by virtue of a few surprise votes to relegate Nick into second place, he's suddenly better than him.
What does that then say about Daicos, who averages 1.21 Brownlow votes per game across his entire career, about 20% more than any other player in the history of the game, and 30% more than any other current player?
I mean, do Brownlow votes count, or not?
No!!! It means that for the last 3 years he has lost to players better than him.
Sheesh, SOME Collingwood supporters are a brand all on their own.
I don't care about anyone else, so it's not for a reaction.I'll be 78 in a number of weeks (Feb) but there you go....."I'll take it easy on ya"..... why attempt to upset anyone about anything just for you're own satisfaction? I just don't understand that way of thinking.
Footy's always been about different opinions, I'll grant you that, however it should also be about factual information surely? Not simply opinions made up to try and get a reaction out of someone else.
Apology accepted.
Welcome to the club (P.Mac)I don't care about anyone else, so it's not for a reaction.
I can assure you.
We'll leave it there, I'm a functioning **** at about 38% of my original capacity after cancer/brain injury. I don't need sympathy (or looking), just hopefully gives you a bit of insight into how wrong your feelz are about me.
It took me a great deal of chemo/hospital stays to be this dumb.
Just my daughter!! She's everything to me.Welcome to the club (P.Mac)
All the best for your health mate and in the long run I hope you do care about others cos we all need friends and family.
Yeah, its a fair comment to say Bont has been the best over the last 10 years, given Daicos hasn't played in 6 of those years.
Bont, like Daicos, has polled a lot of Briwnlow votes without winning one. Again, number of Briwnlow votes for a midfielder is a great indication, without being binary about whether or not the player has won one (or two, or three).
Martin clearly between 2017 and 2020 too, but fell off the cliff quickly.
If you go over the last 10 years, it's probably:
Bont
Neale
Dangerfield
Cripps
The Champion data stat relates to the Brownlow winner always being high in winning contested possessions:Simple question: Who won the Brownlow and when was the last time an uncontested, outside receiver won it?
Not sure what you're point is againNeither are outside receivers.
So, none?
Glad we could answer that question.

What is your point here, given that Daicos averages way more votes per game than any player in history? The Champion data stat relates to the Brownlow winner always being high in winning contested possessions:
In regards to average CP's from those with 20+ games:
Rowell: 3rd (Daicos 30th)
Cripps: 1st
Neale: 8th
Cripps: 3rd
Wines: 3rd
Neale: 4th
Fyfe: 1st
Mitchell: 3rd
Martin: 7th
Danger: 4th
Over the last 18-seasons the Brownlow winner was top-8 in Contested Possession averages.
Naicos was 30th in 2025 which is very very low.
For midfielders who averaged 20+ disposals in 2025, his CP% of 36.7% placed him 41st of 56 players...so near to the likes of Gulden, Bailey Smith, Pendles, Callaghan...so really playing predominantly as an outside receiver as opposed to inside contested player. makes sense as ball use and decisions making is his strength, not the really hard stuff inside.

Thank you, I stand corrected. There, fixed it for you, no charge. Just identifying that all clubs have THOSE sorts of supporters. The generalisations are the dangerous bits.

This is Collingwood's problem as that is a lot of players who are either approaching 30 or very much the wrong side of 30.
It is a lot of players that need replacing in the next few years, and most of those players are in their best 22 when fit.
What about salary cap, is that compromised too? We should have plenty of $$ available if all our stars are retiring at onceDrafts will be compromised as well so no one’s unloading picks.
Are you Donald Trump? Not sure what you're point is again
You're posting absolute rubbish and presenting it as fact
You're having a mare, might be best to sit this one out champ![]()
