Yeah I’m sure Geelong and Sydney said just let Ashcroft do whatever he wants. He is a BIG game player. We just don’t carry on like he is the second coming of Christ like pies supporters do. Looked more like a speed hump for the lions in the last half.

Well the game plan of every team that plays Colliingwood is stop Nick Daicos. Ashcroft runs around as the 3rd or 4th midfielder forward because there are others to worry about. Has he ever had a hard tag?

Its been incredible just how much quality football some of these older guys have played.

So the cliff you're all talking about is in 2-5 years now?
i can't keep up, it was supposed to be 5 years ago.....now its in another two years or maybe 5.....but it'll happen!

Most are struggling at VFL level at this stage. Then the few games they do play they’re basically bits and pieces players at best.
Not sure midfield with Long starting worries many clubs.
