Nice flex.Only one of them got their team into a grand final this year.
You forgot to add 'despite being beaten by Carlton'!

I was saving it to later.Nice flex.

Fly couldnt win year one and might miss finals in 2026, which would make 2Fly has won premiership in 25% of years he's been coaching
Chris Scott has an inferior record of only winning flags in 13.33% of years he's been coaching.
Chris Scott wishes he was Fly McRae.
Can feel the cope oozing off the page. The argument is still revolving around a few points.
Collingwood relies on old players (we don't).
Collingwood has little proven youth (we don't).
Mid season drafts and traded in players don't count (they do, and we're the best at plucking smokeys mid season).
You have to tank and take multiple top 10 picks to build a list, its the only way to succeed (lol).
I can see the argument for the cliff, but there's not a lot of intellectual weight to it as presented beyond "muh numbers".

Ok, I'll bite. Let's say both your mob and my frauds make Wild Card Weekend (which is about our ceiling, honestly).
How confident would you be against a team which has won 11 games this decade?
How confident would I feel about facing North in a so called "final" with both our current lists fit and intact?
is this a trick question??? Am I missing something really really obvious?
Can I take this as my preferred option for all and any finals???
First parts not true.
Pendles Sidebottom Crisp all play mid roles.
Howe a key role down back.
Elliot up forward.
They heavily rely on their older players to suggest otherwise is incorrect
Please do. You're adding nothing, just losing.
We're adding a better/taller 1/4 to the team who were what 50 points up on you last 2 years.
I can't see you getting within cooee of us for near on a decade.
Only one of them got their team into a grand final this year.
Sorry to dispel your "theories"
- So too do The Daicos's, Long, Perryman, Lipinski, Sullivan, JDG, Elliot, McCreery and Hill .... we rotate and mix and match depending on who we're playing and who's available.
- Howe and Elliot are both terrific players for their age sure, but we've actually had to play without both of these blokes for extended periods (12-15 games at a time) during Fly's tenure.
We enjoy our older players and marvel at their skill, IQ and game sense, but we haven't "relied" on any one player since maybe Travis Cloke (and definitely not under the current coaching regime)
Did we miss Pendles in this years Prelim, yep but at such a late stage of your preparation its just not possible to cover a last second injury. If he'd been out all week, we'd have planned accordingly.
Next?
Yep those others come through the middle. All teams have similar rotations.
But to suggest Sidebottom Pendles and Crisp aren’t pivotal in that is not true.
Long Lipinski Sullivan aren’t replacing those 3 for output.
If they make the Top 6 next year, they’ll have over achieved. Will need Pendles, Steele, & Elliot to do another Benjamin Button to get anywhere near it.
...in your opinion.First parts not true.

I keep hearing this stuff after each prelim.
If we transition to the younger blokes and kake finals again I guess the cliff goes back in the fridge.
It could be repurposed, if we slump in 10 years "Pies 2036 woes stem from the cliff of 2024, a 300 page thread".
Sorry mate but they've already been doing it this year and before. Crisp played wing/HB most of the year. Sidey wing and tagger with occasional pops forward and Pendles only attends CB's on occasions and will be playing off HB this year

Pies max consecutive games at the G in 2026 is 4, and maximum consecutive games in Melbourne is 5.But they don't play the amount of games you play at the G, and especially not groups of 6-7 in a row like you guys get.
Yeah, when you actually ignore the fixtures and just run with your made up gut feel it may be the case.Add to that they play shit footy and there you have it.
You can't escape it DG, Collingwood are the most looked after team in the comp.
Stop trying to excuse it away and just accept it,,,,,,,,,we have.
Fixture looks like it's gifted to us because we win the games we should.Pies max consecutive games at the G in 2026 is 4, and maximum consecutive games in Melbourne is 5.
Meanwhile, Carlton's 2026 fixture has them playing their final 9 games in Melbourne ALL 9 at grounds they happily play HOME games at.
Yeah, when you actually ignore the fixtures and just run with your made up gut feel it may be the case.
The only thing you have right is that Carlton and Essendon play shit footy.
You are nearly getting it but you neglected some important bits.So let's get this straight...
One of the main reasons Collingwood are THE most 'looked after team in the competition' is because Carlton and Essendon play shit footy, and can't make the most of similar advantages?

haters gonna hate.....so much to look forward to at Alberton though
Oh Please, don't be that guy. Brissy and fages made Geelong look second rate. Probably get 2026 to.In all seriousness, his clearly one of the best in the league fly, i would easily have him ahead of fagan who has coasted with every advantage shoved up his backside.
With the fraud on Fox Footy Special Comments & nowhere near the Port coaching box, I’m confident we’ll finish above you champ.
