Suns away, Collingwood away, Fremantle away. Hard away games there. and Bulldogs and Hawthorn at home won't be certain wins for them either. Very Hard draw and a couple of losses likely.

Too hard to predict finishing order as so close.
Imo, Hawks, GWS, Fremantle & Bulldogs fighting for 3 of 4 spots.
Cant see us or Gold Coast winning the flag due to lack of experience, but reckon both sides are safe to make finals.

Really hope our game is after theirs because expect them to win be 100+ to try and overtake the %. Not knowing / us knowing what to beat will be very important.
Also what a ****ing shit comp that they play last years bottom spooners twice in 7 weeks to finish the season. They finished with West Coast last year. Get a grip.

Interesting point as imaging if the last game was the difference between 2nd & 3rd between them & us.
I think they will be a game ahead any way.

Not sure if you understand how the fixture works they were drawn to play the top two sides (port and Sydney) from last years home and away period in the run home, unfortunately for everyone else those two teams suck this year.
Geelong have also played more top 8 sides (from this year) than everyone else to date.
Adelaide’s lead-in to finals is a gift, for a team that hasn’t got finals experience these games will either give them that sort of confidence or be a great wake up call to what’s needed.

We have great separation in our matchups as well. Our really tough matchups against the Suns, Hawks and Pies are followed by games against really depleted teams.
We play the following ladder positions:
5th (H)
11th (H)
6th (H)
18th (A)
1st (H)
16th (A).
I’ve got no problem with Geelong not playing any more top 8 teams, as I get quirks of the draw.
But Richmond were always going to be around a bottom. That’s not a port/sydney shock. To play them round 17 and round 24 shouldn’t happen in an 18 team comp.
It’s actually a huge pet peeve of mine as teams go through form slumps, injuries, bottom teams tends to be better at start of the year then the end. To play teams twice in quick succession is another result of AFL prioritizing money over fairness.
Anyway is what it is. We lost to Geelong, and have a 1 game extra win, plus what should be an easy win in the last round, so it’s our own fault if we get overtaken.
