Of course you can't expect Presti to come back and pay good footy this year. When has he ever played good footy in his career ?? He is a goat mate - not sure who is worse him or Maxwell !!!!
you have no idea dip shit

I'm more concerned about our fade-outs than anything else. We lost against Brisbane, North, Carlton (2nd time) and Footscray because we couldn't finish on and we folded like a pack of cards against Hawthorn. I know there were injuries against the doggies but it's just happening too consistently. It's either a lack of fitness or belief and I favour the former (because of that idiotic SA/Dubai debacle - rather than the Arizona trip that had worked so well for us in recent years).

Still, I'm pessimistic by nature - so there's still hope. I gave them away for the year after the 1st Carlton loss and they then produced some terrific footy over the next four weeks. Here's hoping it will happen again - difficult though with our tough draw and injuries (not to mention our inability to close games out).

I agree, the fade outs are the biggest problems we have at the moment. Winning those games is the difference between a top four team and a team making up the numbers at seventh or eighth. If we had of closed in a couple of those games the injuries to key players would not have been so damaging as we would be in a more secure spot. As it stands though our season could be really put in a bad place over the next few weeks, which is disappointing cause we have shown some good form in some games this year.

Makes no differnce birdbrain you have no idea - bar Didak being hit my a truck or shot by a bikey -(the later is quite possible considering the company he keeps) there is no way Collingwood would delist him - I have no doubt that if he was to do his knee next game he woul be retained on the list. The boy can play. U on the other hand obviously know very little about the game and would make a very good wing defence - seriously get yourself a Vixens memebership.... There is no way Didak is going anywhere regardless if he needs surgery tomorrow or the next day...

If Didak needed major surgery, that would require him to sit out the rest of the season he would be considered for trade. I mentioned nothing about delisting him, you simple little chimp...

He is our best bargaining chip and the easiest to cover of all our stars. As a small forward he has been outperformed by Medhurst this year and he has had 1 season at 100% (2006) in the last 5 years.

If it meant securing a Kerr or a Brown, fully fit he wouldnt be in the equation, but facing another leg operation, he would come into contention. (If he actually did his knee, of course he would stay, because 15 clubs wouldn't be "jumping all over him", not at a premium anyway)

As for the Vixens membership, im still considering it, but if I am going to go for a 2nd sports membership, i'd like to follow a team with no backbone, who lie, cheat and steal to take even the smallest advantage, a team with fair weather supporters, a team who chooses to put a criminal at the head of it's organisation, because they were so desperate for money......ah yes....that would be a nice change .

And as for knowing very little about the game, from a guy who needs to ask "when has presti ever played good footy in his life?" , seriously .......ask Matty Lloyd that one sport.

You are right, adzarani clearly has no clue, why the hell would we get rid of one of our best players, if not our best, just because he had surgery to get his body right, especially after we kept him after the whole biker thing. I guess he would prefer us to play him half fit so can make the injury worse. Besides even if we tried to trade him we probably value him at the same as the Judd deal last year. We do have a history of overvaluing our players.

We have been doing that for 5 years.....

There is suggestion we are still doing that now.......

Does anybody think that 08 is a ride of because how it is going atm

A ride of what?

Surely you mean "write off"?

Anyway I disagree that Didak is struggling against Bulldogs he was pretty good but obviously had a sore foot, the rest will do him good. Johnson has come back into form a fair bit and is much better than last year.

Theres nothing wrong with didaks form hes been one of our best this year and is probably leading our B n F n hes only guner get better, i think we will make the 8 i just feel we need 2 have a geelong year where we dont go as well as expected then go nuts in '09 but cum finials time i woodnt wana play the woodsmen we LIFT!!!

If we beat Swans, far from it.

If we lose to Swans, we'll still make the 8.

Depends on what your definition of gone is.

Miss the 8 I assume.
