You're right Neishaj. They should have done it as a step by step process and dragged it out then allowed a Victorian club to trump our offer leaving us with Sumich as coach.

Atleast you won't have to worry about public transport to the Len Hall game next year.

Wow the AFL is pretty cuthroat, but this is a dog act, beyond comparison really. Fremantle have always been a club I kinda liked, but now your clubs admin are bigger backstabbers than the prime minister, and you have a coach that I never liked, and shows can't be trusted....wow I hope it turns out for you guys, but it's not a good beginning.

Exactly.

Despite our on field performances financially we are one of the big clubs and have the option of throwing money at problems (percieved). In this case it's exactly what we have done.

Pies did it at Malthouse a few years ago and that certainly paid off, I have my doubts about Freo's move but time will tell.

Lyon at the trade table may give a fair bit away on what he intends to do with the club.

Get over it. Yeah it's sad for Mark, but I'm fairly certain we had MULTIPLE threads this season stating how much people were starting to think Mark Harvey wasn't the man anymore. I highly doubt the Steves woke up this morning and said "lets sack Harves lulz!". We need to think about our future and now we have a coach who has taken a St Kilda list (who I reckon are on par with our list) to many grand finals. Bring it on, I'm looking forward to it.

I love the over dramatic responses, but yes it was brutal and efficient.

Gotta say that the ruthlessness shown by freo in this has been breathtaking. They've identified someone who they obviously believe will have a greater chance of winning a flag and have gone after him and have been able to do it without anyone in the football world having the slighest clue.

That said I do feel for Harvey as he had done a reasonable job and could rightfully consider himself to be hard done by

Extremely Harsh but there were lots of small doubts over Harvs ability from us an im sure them also.
They saw an opportunity an went an grabbed it.
Now im not overly excited about Lyon coming here as i have doubts over him an hated watching saints play under him.

I heard a small rumour today that Harvs wanted us to go hard to get Jaeger, an wasnt that worried about Clark.
Whereas Bond/club were more interested in chasing Clark an there was an argument about that in the meeting today.
Also said he had been arguing with fitness staff, an some of this led to his sacking?
Hard to believe something as big as this could of been done in just a day so rumour hopefully wrong.
If thats true they are pushing hard to get a premiership in the next 2 years so we could be selling the farm to get Clark an forgetting what got us such a decent list.

Still i have no idea how anyone can be sure Harvs wasnt right man for the job.
He overturned almost the entire list.
2010 we almost finished in top4 but players burnt out towards end of season.
2011 massive injuries poor coaching an man management from Harves.
2012 healthy list whos to say he wouldnt of had us pushing for top4 again or even gone better?

We just dont know.
Was Scott our reason for success in 2010.
Was our fitness staff the reason for player burnout in 2010 an then again in 2011.

Think they really should of waited till next year
