funny, i thought i saw your players doing a lap of honour after the game - high fives all round - what was that about? would have thought youd just won a final.....

hardly a lap of honour

it recognition of the supporters - something NC introduced and I think has been great - reminds the players what they are playing for !

Yeah it's called acknowledging and showing appreciation to your supporters. Something Port Power players obviously have no concept of, believing that they are superior to everyone and above the law and thus engaging in callous acts such as drink driving and sexual abuse believing it to be their right and priviledge.

Get a grip........oh that's right, you already have one. To$$er.

Be nice if you could keep your comments relevant to the football but obviously you're not smart enough to......

Ok, here is the 'relevant to the football' version:

It's called acknowledging and showing appreciation to your supporters, something which Port Power players obviously have no concept of, because according to captain ebert, he's never experienced having the Port Power players mingling with their supporters the way the Crows players did.

Good point, I think we've got enough to be happy about without having to resort to this garbage. I thought it was great the way the players acknowledged the fans and makes for great theatre after a win, after all football when it comes down to it is entertainment for the masses.

Supporters should enjoy the win, the lead up to a game is the time to be sticking the knives in, but afterwards is a time for being humble in victory (Mark Williams take note-sorry couldn't resist) and looking forward to the next challenge against Sydney. 68 points is a whole lot of satisfaction to get you through a week, no need for the bitter stuff.

And like I said, Port DO do it. I wouldn't take captain eberts' word to be gospel if I were you. I had NO problem with Adelaide doing it after such a great win either.

No need to resort to that type of crap tho jmorg1. You won the game convincingly.

funny, you showing your face around here after your 15 goal mauling prediction...you were close only 4 goals out, pity you tipped the mauling against the wrong team, what happened?

you guys smashed us, thats what happened!
Funny everytime Adelaide get beat the same stooges come along creating threads and baiting and we as supporters have to defend our club. If we say we got smashed we are laughed at and asked why.

So CE why did you get smashed? Time to change the coach? Primus to be dropped? Time to pay out McGuiness? ( oh that plan worked well for Adelaide, sending Tony in undercover to sabotage Port)

Let's savour the win (I sure am!), but be respectful of posters too.

Or the biggest question of them all.

What were Tredrea and White doing in that photo in The Advertiser? That is pure GOLD! :D

havent seen that one.....but ****, wasnt that rag being boycotted anyway?

Not by me. But I would never pay for it. I only get to read it because we get one at work.

I can't boycott something that I never purchase anyway.

I'd be pretty sure that sales of the Tiser amongst crows' supporters skyrocketed today.
I wonder if people purchased it to see if Rucci commented on the warm applause he got when introduced as a voter in the medal count?

Exactly and its what the players should have been doing for a longtime, they did the same the week before at the TD ;)

CE you dont have to be negetive about everything the AFC do

I am loving this win....only sorry I am not at work...otherwise I would stick our win right up my CEO's butt - silly Port ********er. Tried to give me ******** last week but I ignored him - shame I am not there to give him the ******** back!

k
xx

Id reckon NC would be conveying the same message.......dont get carried away.

By the same token the players need to suck in the win enjoy the accolades but be mindful of our hero status sweeping the media.
Hero to zero can happen qucker than a Mattner tackle.

I said it after the Ptes game...all of us will get a lot of confidence from the win now we just need to do it again.

Okay lets not show our long term memory loss here. Anyone remember why Ronnie Burnes lost his license? or spoken to the 16 year old that accused Tony Modra of sexual assault?
So jmorg1 perhaps a lesson on "those in glass houses" is required here.
