I generally agree. Surely, with so many (reportedly) talented tall key forward and defence prospects in this draft, we MUST take the best available with our first pick.
Whether that be Johnston or Aaron Cornelius or Paul Cahill, or if a McKernan or Roughhead or even Jordan Lisle, we have to go tall.

I noticed is he seems to lead very well and has a extremely strong mark. Even the behinds he kicked were not bad kicks and they almost made it through the middle sticks.

I would love to see this guy in Red and White next year as i think he could be a player who will be in our forward line for the next 10 years.

He can play in the ruck but he's mainly a key forward. I saw him play for Vic Metro in the champinoships and he looked quite good. Great hands and a booming kick for goal. Plays much like his brother Corey.

Well thats a problem as Corey McKernan only averaged around 1.5 goals a game over his career and for a Full Forward that just isnt good enough. I still think Lewis Johnston is a better bet as a potential replacement for Michael O'Loughlin or even Barry Hall.

Everyone keeps baggin mcveigh and yeh he used to be bad but he is a legend. He had a great season and won our clubs best and fairest. Cut him some slack. Funnily enough the person who won the U10 Pennant Hills best and fairest 7 years before me is Jarrad Mcveigh!
