If Brand and Eyre come after 44 then i would be interested in Brodie Lake at that pick as a medium defender with good pace.
worth noting, 44 will climb.
JUH, Campbell, McInnes and Jones will likely take up a good 8 picks in the bids
So it's projecting in the 30s.

About 40 provided Campbell, JHU and Jones come into the top 12. If Coleman and Downie get bids before Brand/Eyre it will keep going up.

Any where past 35+ i would still look at Lake.

Even if McInnes doesn't end up a genuine inside mid, his skill & athletic set would help out list anyways. Using that to garner a trade with Collingwood should absolutely be on the table imho.

Really warming to a Perkins + Cox + McInnes or trade back for 16 & 21 first for the pies

The pies wouldnt do that though as the crows have been reported tk be super keen on Mcinness and a bid at 9 would crucify them next year

Theyd need a 2nd in return which is where Brisbane or Hawks could play some part i feel and we might have to also add something from the future

So for me (as far as bids go) I think:

JUH goes 2 (NM)
Campbell goes 6 (GC)
Jones goes 11 (Ade)
McInness goes 13 (NM)
Gulden goes ~22 (Mel)
Walker goes ~25 (GWS)
Coleman goes ~33 (Mel)
Brand goes ~36 (NM)

Yeh there just seems so many every kid i read about is from the chargers it seems and on the back of last year. This seems alot more than 4 from that premiership side
To be fair, the groups of under agers in groups have exposed forms. Just luck that one of those was from the Chargers.

I'd like a look at Treacy at that point.
Eyre seems capable of playing back and fwd.
Cox seems more settled down back. Brand is certainly a defender.

Another tallish forward would be nice.

Really depends what we do with 6, 7 & 8.

Does that mean the points value of those picks we hold changes or are they set pre-draft?
Points value essentially doesn't actually exist until someone wants to match a bid, at which point picks are indexed according to the DVI. So whatever the pick number is at that moment is how much it's worth.

Yup.

Also, if JHU, Campbell, Jones, McInnes and potentially Coleman and Downie all go in the first round, the second round will begin somewhere between 27-29.

So if Hawthorn want to bid on Eyre (rumours are they may) then the bid wont come until pick 30+. We should be ablebto match easily with whatever 44 ends up becoming (38-41ish)

I think Crows are absolutely taking Thilthorpe considering there seriously looking at Mcinness at pick 9 then id say theyd be taking a key and then also a midfielder. Macrae is the backup plan i feel

North deciding between Hollands and L.Mcdonald I wouldve thought they need Mcdonald a whole lot more they have no key fwds outside of Larkey unless their banking on Comben

Anderson, Dumont, T.Thomas, LDU, Simpkin, B.Scott offer plenty in the midfield for many years to come

Bids for me:
Pick 2 North: JUH
Pick 7 Essendon: B.Campbell
Pick 10 Crows: R.Mcinness
Pick 16 GWS: L.Jones
Pick 31 GWS: Goulden

I think Hawks and Lions would be silly to not trade out of their positions.

that was fun.

1. Adelaide - Riley Thilthorpe
2. JUH bid & match
3. North Melbourne - Logan McDonald
4. Sydney - Elijah Hollands
5. Hawthorn - Archie Perkins
6. Gold Coast - Denver Grainger-Barras
7. Essendon - Will Phillips
8. Essendon - Nik Cox
9. Braeden Campbell bid & match
10. Lachie Jones bid & match
11. Collingwood - Zach Reid (trade with Essendon for 14 & 16)
12. Adelaide - Tom Powell
13. GWS - Tanner Bruhn
14. North Melbourne - Heath Chapman
15. Reef McInnes bid & match
16. Fremantle - Caleb Poulter
17. GWS - Brayden Cook
18. Essendon - Oliver Henry
19. GWS - Finlay Macrae
20. Blake Coleman bid & match
21. Essendon - Connor Stone
22. Richmond - Nathan O'Driscoll
23. Melbourne - Jack Carroll
24. Errol Gulden bid & match
25. Melbourne - Zavier Maher
26. GWS - Bailey Laurie
27. St Kilda - Jake Bowey

WHICH CLUBS POTENTIAL AFL DRAFTEES SUPPORT:

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan
- Essendon

Logan McDonald - Collingwood

Will Phillips - Collingwood

Elijah Hollands - Adelaide Crows

Denver Grainger-Barras - West Coast Eagles

Riley Thilthorpe - Adelaide Crows

Braeden Campbell - Sydney Swans

Tanner Bruhn - West Coast Eagles

Lachie Jones - Port Adelaide

Archie Perkins - Geelong Cats

Oliver Henry - Geelong Cats

Reef McInnes - Essendon

Tom Powell - Gold Coast Suns

Zane Trew - Sydney Swans

Eddie Ford - St Kilda

Blake Coleman - St Kilda
So Bruhn and DGB both fail the psych and IQ test.

I’d be keen to split 8 for 14 + 16 on the basis that a few draft watchers stratify the draft as 1-5 as top tier then 6-15 as the next tier. So there may not be much difference in quality between 8 and possibly even 16.

Four first-round picks would certainly be tempting.

Though I still prefer a scenario that includes a future first if we're going down that path.
I could live with that too.
